Here are two charge whichare about worldwide and regional land gegradation. The pie chart shows thatthree basic reason as well as a small one cause the worldwide land degradation.
Over-grazinghas a most effective degree which is more than one-third reaching 35％. Althoughdeforestation do not reach the high level as over-grazing, it still cover about30％. The third one is over-cultiation. In spite of beingarranging behind over-cultivation only less 2％ thandeforestation achieve 28％. Other unknow causes make up therest of 7％.
Thetable below indicates that different causes has different effacts to differentregion. According to this, Europe has suffered from land degradation mostly.9.8％ landin Europe is at a disadvantage which is deforestion have far more than NorthAmerica’s 0.2 and oceania’s 1.7. The similar thing has happpened inover-cultivation. 7.7％ in Europe, 3.3％ in North America while 0％ in Oceania. Butsomething change in over-grazing. Oceania is better in deforestation andover-cultivation, but 11.3％ land suffer fromover-gazing which is nearly two times of the summation from North Amer andOceania. Howevver, total land degraded still have the most effective causes inEurope with 23％ which is far more than North American 5％ and oceation 13％.
Wecan see over-grazing has affected regional land mostly and Europe is the firstone which is affected by land degradation.
