Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Working at home using computers or telephones is better than working in office.

Thanks to the development of modern communication technology, now more and more people begin to work at home with a computer and a telephone. This newly emerged working style is an every effective way to increase the job satisfaction of the employees, boost employees’ productivity, and enrich employees’ personal life. It's a win-win solution for both employers and the employees.

One of the most important benefits of working at home is that it can increase the job satisfaction for employees. People would have the freedom to arrange their work as they wish, and since they know their own situation the best, it's possible that they would optimize their schedule so that work would be done in a more smartly and effectively way. Another aspect which is considerable is that, for most of people, home is the place that is most convenient and comfortable to stay at. So in the environment they like most, worker's productivity would definitely be promoted. I myself like to work at home because I can arrange my work to the time when I’m energic and productive in a day, like in the evening. I can also drink or eat something when I want to, I feel especially satisfied with this kind of working style.

Another significant benefit of working at home is that people don't need to spent long hour on the road between the office and their home. Before I begin to work at home, I usually spent almost 2 hours a day on the road. It's really a boring, tired and energy consuming activity. Every time when I drove to the office, I just felt too tired to start the work, or when i drove home, I would just want to go to bed. Nothing else can arouse my interest because of I’m so exhausted. Huge amount of time and energy are saved now for me. Now, I have much more time to pursue my hobbies such as reading and playing basketball, as well as to contact and play with my friends. Many friendships would be terminated if I continued to commute every day and have no time and energy to keep in touch with my friends. Work at home saved my personal life.

Other advantages such as saving the working space for the employers, protecting the environment because of less car would be drove to workplace, and cutting expense for the company are also considerable outcome the this modern working style. With so many benefits, working at home would definitely be more and more popular in future.
