AK INBRE (http://www.alaska.edu/inbre/) announces a competition for graduate research support for a qualified applicant.  Supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health, the primary objective of the INBRE Doctoral Fellowship Award is to recruit high quality graduate students to the University of Alaska (http://www.alaska.edu/).  The award provides up to four (4) years support for a research project in the Biomedical Sciences, in the labs of AK INBRE supported faculty (http://www.alaska.edu/inbre/)

Clearly this is a funding own by a whole institute and I got this email as I am on some kind of a email list, though most times there are more post-doc and faculty positions but not pre-doctoral ones.
