有经验的GTER们帮忙看下，这两封回信是啥子意思，是比较积极呢还是只是礼貌性的回复？

My suggestion is that you apply directly to the Urban Studies Program with the essay outlining your research project.

2.I have reviewed your transcript and I believe that you have a strong background for the MFRE program. You are a very good student, and I will be pleased to recommend you to the Admission Committee for the MFRE program.  If you are sure that MFRE is the program that you want, then I encourage you to go ahead and apply for the program on-line. If you have any questions regarding the application, Lisa can help you, and if you have any questions regarding the academic side of the program, I can help you. If it turns out to be useful for us to talk, we can do so via telephone or skype.  In the meantime, I suggest you go ahead and apply for MFRE, and that way we can give you a more definite admission decision sooner.  You don’t need to worry about your TOEFL score – it is fine.  I hope this helps.
