(12/27 clear) 11/29 北京 Check F1 OPT返签+F2携签

到今天足足三个星期了 还是没有clear  不过我上次返签四个月才clear的 所以现在很淡定了

PhD ECE 光电方向 今年8月份毕业 然后一直在上班   老婆去年硕士毕业了   我们两年前在美国登记的

VO是个亚裔女，挺年轻。面试过程无比简单
Me: How are you today?
VO: I'm fine. How about you?
Me: I'm also fine.
VO: (边看I-20) So you are going back to University of xxxxx?
Me: Well, actually, I'm going back for my optional practical training. I already graduated and have a job. (递上offer letter和公司开的employment letter).
VO: (边看那两个letter边敲键盘) Can I see your resume?
Me: Excuse me for just once second (挖出来简历). Here it is.
VO：(边看简历,边敲键盘,然后递给我一个白条):Your case will need 2-3 weeks' processing.
Me: OK, thank you very much.
VO: You have a good day.

然后，老婆上去了，我闪到一边，VO看我还不走，楞了一下，又加一句You have a good day. 我赶紧说我们是夫妻俩，她笑说You guys should come together.

然后老婆的面试更加简单  VO看一眼结婚证，问是在美国认识的吗? 我们说是在国内认识的。VO微笑点头，递给老婆白条: You passed. 然后跟我们明确，等我的check clear之后，两人的签证将会一起发放。

出门整理材料发现，VO一共拿走了护照，offer letter, employment letter和resume。

Thank you for contacting the Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center. A check of the records at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing indicates that your F-1 student visa application is currently undergoing administrative processing in order to verify your qualifications for the visa.   Administrative processing usually lasts about 60 days or less, but can take longer in some instances.  However, our U.S. Embassies and Consulates make every effort to expedite student and exchange visitor visa processing.  We realize that any period of wait can be frustrating, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the nonimmigrant visa program is to facilitate legitimate travel to the U.S.  Nonetheless, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, like all U.S. Embassies and Consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law.   

While we cannot predict when the processing of your case will be completed, please be assured that the Embassy and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that the visa is adjudicated as soon as possible once your qualifications have been fully verified.  When complete, or if additional information is needed, you will be notified by the consular staff in Beijing.
