The company that has a group to do the project did not receive the positive results as the passage indicates. Instead, they found the teamwork sometimes is inefficient. (时态有点乱)
First of all, there are free riders in all teams, which mean people who work a little but gain the same. That's because the team works as a whole, when it succeeds, there will be no individual name. All the reputation is equal, and those who didn’t work hard ever have less benefit. (这句没读懂。。)
Secondly, contrary to the passage, the teamwork is much slower than work alone (individual work). Though more people involved means there are more resources and solutions, it also means it’s more difficult to reach consensus. They spent too much time on meeting and discussion to finish the job.|| And if there is someone who has influential ideas, the team will even drop instead of discussing some creative idea. (感觉这一点应该放在下一段，都是关于idea的)
The last problem is that some valuable opinions could be ignored. If someone is insistent in doing something dangerous for the project, objective opinions always get ignored, since it is the whole team to blame for prosperous(enormous?) failure and no individual will get punished.
In a word, the teamwork is not always effective. It has to face up to problems on distribution, efficiency and responsibility.

I agree that university professor should pay more attention on teaching instead of researching. There are several reasons. ||In the following I will analysis (analyze) each of the reasons. (最后一句可省)

First, education is always significant, especially university education. In middle school and high school, we learn fundamental knowledge on all aspects including math, language, history, biology, etc. But at university, students start having special training, which is important for their future career. Only if they have certain kind of skill can they get a good job. If the professor doesn’t teach their student as a specialist should do, the students will not be qualified for the job market. And university professor also have the responsibility to give general education on moral and cultural fields, since they are the models for student to imitate before stepping into society. If the professors behave properly, there will be less chance for their student to be immoral in the future.

Secondly, the difference between university professor and total researcher in certain research center declares that professor should make it the main role to educate students. There are a lot of research centers for those who only want to do research. If professors do not want to give classes, they can choose to be a total researcher instead. One should not choose a job and take only part of the responsibility. On the other hand, teaching part can in turn help professors do better researches, since during the education process, students sometimes come up with valuable questions, which even the professor himself ignores. That’s a win-win result which benefits both professors and students. (教授不同于研究员，教书可以实现双赢)

It is so essential for professor to give good education. In a word, just like a doctor should care more about his/her patients instead of papers, a professor also should dedicate him/herself on teaching rather than on researching.

I have always been a person of kind-hearted and ready to help. (建议LZ考虑这个开头是否合适呢？)But as to one’s schoolwork, I think it is better for the classmates to find a professional tutor for help. （最好不要照搬原来考题中的文字，有点改动比较好）The following are several reasons for my opinion.（最好不露痕迹）
Firstly, professional tutor gives more accurate answers. The tutor profession is designed to help students and tutors certainly have the ability since most of them are elder （改为experienced会不会更清楚些呢）and have received better education（我觉得LZ要表达的是more advanced education） than us. On the contrary（LZ这里应该想用的是in contrast,on the contrary类似instead，多表示之后的内容否定前一个，而in contrast是表对比，易错需注意！）, student themselves are approximately at the same level, hence cannot do much help(缺少主语). For instance, I’m a graduate school student majoring at（in？） law. But if my classmate asks me what’s the meaning of law, I still will （will still）hesitate and have to look up the answer in textbooks. However, if he goes for a professional tutor, he can get the answer more quickly and precisely. The tutor even can tell him more about this issue than he actually asked, for example, the running of law, the lawmaking process, etc. In that way my classmate not only solves one problem but also broaden his knowledge.
Secondly, though I have the will to help, I’m not always abundant in time. As a graduate school student, I have to prepare for my dissertation and find internship. So it is inconvenient for me to help sometimes, so do other classmates. After all, people nowadays are busy all the way. But professional tutors have the responsibility to help students with their schoolwork. In my college, students always ask teacher many questions after classes and each teacher have to set up certain time for inquiries. If (a)teacher ignore(s) the questions, students can give the teacher a negative assessment on the school webpage.
On the other hand,(虽然可以省略on one hand直接用on the other hand,但是是不是只能在两方面中用而不能再第三方面用呢？LZ可以再琢磨一下，有了答案希望也可以告诉我嘿嘿) prompting questions to tutors also benefits the tutors themselves. Most professional tutors are teachers or researchers. Students’ questions might remind them of some valuable academic problems that even they themselves have ignored. So never should the students consider that asking tutors for help is kind of trouble. In fact, it is a win-win consequence.
In conclusion, the classmate should ask professional tutor for help. If I have time, I would like to discuss the schoolwork with my classmate, but to get professional tuition will still be a better choice.

Which kinds of university do you prefer universities whose graduates can find good jobs or universities where there are famous professors?


People go to university for different reasons. Some aim at getting prepared for a good job, others go for the attraction of famous professors. As a result, universities themselves are setting different goals, with some university training students for work while others provide lectures of great minds. In my point of view, I prefer the universities with famous professors.

Famous professors are the precious treasure of a university. Firstly, famous professors have the most abundant knowledge in their field and can establish academic atmosphere for students. If a student reads all the books of a professor, he can surely obtain the core/kernel/marrow of certain field. Also, famous professors can always look further and do cross-cutting research. For instance, my graduate school tutor is a famous professor in environmental law. While doing researches for him, I get to know the frontiers of my subject, such as undersea biodiversity protection, waste incineration, renewable resources, etc. Furthermore, my tutor collaborates with other famous professors in different fields like environment engineering, biology, chemistry. If he is not so famous and erudite, he absolutely cannot handle the inter-discipline study.

Secondly, famous professors can not only teach us knowledge, but also share their life experience. They become famous for both their academic success and appreciable virtues. Being diligent, honest, modest and creative, they grow into noble examples. In my school, every year before freshmen start their class, there will be a serious of lectures given by famous professors. The freshmen can get to know how the masters spend their time in the university. In that way ,new student will no longer feel confused about the upcoming college life. I have been one of the freshmen too, and even though I have already graduated from the university, I can still remember the sparkles of thoughts of the famous professors. Their experience encourages me and makes me be a better person from then on.

Also, I have to admit that classes that aimed at training students for future job are necessary. Take me myself for example. As a student of law, I have to take the classes on legal writing, legal English and moot, all of which can improve the practicing skills. However, it doesn’t mean that we can abandon the chance to meet famous professors. After all, we can still learn working skills after graduate(graduating), but can rarely hear a lesson from famous professors. That’s why famous professors are precious.

In a word, I think universities with famous professors are better, since professors can improve the academic as well as moral standard of students. And every school can provide classes that trains student for work, only the great ones can invite famous professors for teaching.
