Rather than help their children doschool work, parents should encourage their children do work independently. Doyou agree or disagree?



Why, you may wonder, should parents give a hand to their school children on finishing assignment? Because with high pressure caused by difficult academic subjects, there is plenty of homework to do instead of playing with friends outside after school. However, I, after careful consideration, maintain that parents should encourage their children to do school works on their own without too much help from parents.



Questionnaires from across the countrydemonstrate, astonishingly, that numerous people, even since their early years,  have associated finishing homework with help from parents who may have ability to solve certain complex problems. They completely ignore the significance offinishing homework independently quite unaware of the fact that will definitelybenefit us in more ways than that.



First and foremost, doing their assignment without parents’ extreme help will bringplenty of benefits of various sorts. To start with, with homework, no matter how difficult it is, finished by themselves without help from parents, students are likely to build a personality of independence. For example, students will enjoy the joy that the independent success bring to them so that they may dealwith problems or difficulties on their own unconsciously. Furthermore, if children can finish their homework without anyone’shelp, especially from their parents’, they will be brave to facethe difficulty in their future life. For instance, with complex math problems having been solved, children may be so venturous that they have capacity toface the problems and beat the problems without too much nervousness. Last butnot least, independent thought will bring improvement on academic subjects to students, thereby making them get the peak of the mountain of certain subject with engaging work. Consequently, it is a truth universally acknowledged thatfinishing school assignment turns out to be a wise choice.



With more independence comes more practical experience. It is known to us that solving problems without parents help, to a great extent, will benefit children by the increase of ability,while young pioneers, especially in modern days, are put in the place full of opportunities with coming competitions. We can, with ease, find specific example in the case of my friend, Gibbs. Gibbs used to get low marks in his math exams because of receiving help on math from his father commonly. After a failure last term, he decided to go straight on the independent way of studying. At last, he enjoys his great stride in math in this middle-term examination. Hence, without independent study, we can never reach our appearinggoals.



To sum up, it is true admittedly that receiving academic help from folks comes to be a considerable way to finish present difficulty on study, yet although with harsh industry, independent workis the way to future achievement.
