2010年12月03日 独立作文：agree or disagree？ Should parents help to their children do the school or encouragethem to do schoolwork independent.

   For centuries, people have been obsessed withfinding out the best mode to educate their children as children are theirfuture and hope, thus rising a heated debate over whether parents should give ahand to their children's homework when they need help or just encourage them todo it independently. To my point of view, I really cannot see the contradictionbetween the two choices. Here is my thinking.


   Onone hand, one major point we have to consider is that parents can make up whattheir children are lack of due to the long connecting with their children since they were born. During kids' formative age, it is their parents who will spendmost of their time and share experience with them, which play a vital role intheir childhood. Besides from their teachers who will have hundreds of studentsto care about and observe, children could turn to their parents for advice andinspirations because parents can give their children the most unselfish helpand love by making a friendly environment which does definitely good to the children'sgrowth. Parents could set good examples for their children, which can helpchildren form a good way of thinking and doing their homework.



Onthe other hand, excessive love or false information from parents could eitherdoes harm to their children's growth. The belief that parents should doeverything for the children without considering whether children are old andcapable enough to do by themselves is already antiquated and toxic. Whatparents should know is that they cannot replace their children to confront withthose unavoidable and essential difficulties when they grow up. When it comes,it is the encouragement and support that will be the greatest power forchildren to face adversities instead of excessive love.

To sum up, hold a right attitude towards thechild, consequently, do the exact help when they are in trouble. That's whatthe wise parents should do.
