Government officials should rely on their own judgment rather than unquestioningly carry out the will of the people they serve.
Most candidates of presidency, such as Barack Obama of America, commit to achieve a fanciful future prospects, and that is the reason why, when they fail to meet the former promises, citizens feel like be deceived and claim that their will are ignored by those loathsome politicians. However, the statement provides a excuse for those frauds that their own judgment outweighs than the people's thoughts. Technically, I concede that the statement is reasonable and impartial, at the level of administration.
Admittedly, the will of the pubic is questionably in the core of government. The function of modern government is to protect every person's democratic rights, fabricate a harmonious surrounding for well-beings, and advance the international influence among other countries to obtain more interests for its nationals. The will of the mass indicates their material and spiritual requirement, which is the pivotal part of the government's function. On the other hand, unless the demand of most citizens were satisfied, could the government measures work effectively therefore realizing its functional value. Take the USA, after taking office, the president intelligently recalibrated and withdrawn from Iraq because of the roaring domestic anti-war sentiment. Thus it is natural and inextricable that taking the will of the people into government consideration.
Completely carrying out citizens' will, yet, is impossible and irrational for both a wise government and its people. Impossibility, understandably, is the result of divergence between ones and ones. Assuming that every Indian's needs are influential for the politicians, that means there are 1.21billion of disparate needs on the condition of different people, the Indian governors can hardly make any decision but struggle to find a panacea for their citizens. At the same time, without comparatively concise and ample information, the citizens' needs can do harm to themselves and the country. Considering the urbanization of most countries in the world, demand of newly built masons grows rapidly. But the housing needs of ordinary beings conflicts with the future environment protection and resources reservation. Conversely, if their short term want was realized, their longterm want will turn out to be well fed and have clean water to drink. Neither the country nor the people can gain benefits from this kind of democracy.
Compared with amateur citizen rulers, the government officials' reflections are much advantageous and typical. It is the people ,using their rights, who enable the statesmen to govern, representing their will and need. Changing a leader is not a difficult myth for nowadays human since their democratic rights equips them with the capacity to elect and depose. To be a trust-worth candidates, there are few exceptions that most of them are well educated and diplomatic in handling government affairs, which is the very foundation upon which country function well and the people live and work in harmony. Barack Obama ,again ,is the graduate of Columbia University-top 10 of the world universities-and the president of the most mighty extant country. Fewer officials, compared with the number of citizens, speed up the negotiation process among diversities, increase the administrative productivity, achieve the maximization of resources and interests. No doubt that finding common ground with 200 persons is much easier than with 200 million ones.
In sum, the statement mentioned is verifiable and convincing. Besides, the government officials should consistently put the people's will on the top, and the administration emphasis on tackling citizens' matters. Moreover, it would be better to make more effort to communicate with the population, come across the government layout, and exchange different opinions of insuring that the democracy of the country will reach a higher level. |
