What is more, by realizing the importance of acquisition of new knowledge and information does not bear the implication that these two concepts are necessarily conflict with each other. On the contrary, it is usually by acknowledging the limit in scope of our knowledge do we start a new round of exploration to overcome this limit. Since the recognition of limitation is the inchoate period in human’s epistemological development, the active endeavor of people to overcome the limitation should be considered more crucial in obtaining truth about the world and enlarge perception. In the medical science area, people have long realized the limit in their conquering over this wide-spreading fatal disease-AIDS. But if we stagnate over this hardness and flinch before our limited knowledge about it, we would expect that scientists devote more time in analyzing the incurability of AIDS rather than focusing on intensive medical research and experiment.

While it is true that in the academic field, it is more important to acquire new facts and knowledge, the same case do not happen necessarily in the professional field. Let us take the business as an example to illustrate this point. In the traditional service industry such as medical care, accounting, insurance, it is more important to realize the limit of existing practices that acquiring new facts and information. Admittedly, acquiring new facts and information would always prove to be productive since every profession needs fresh ideas to renovate the replace the outdated ones. But comparatively speaking, the traditional industry relay on regular service code and the most outstanding ones are those who excel in these stable practices and custom services. As a result, it is more vital for people in the traditional industry to realize the limit in their practice than acquiring new knowledge and information. It is through constantly supplying good custom service, predictable company code and behavior, realizing deficiencies in their practices and making accordingly rectifications do companies survive and prosper in this professional field. On the hi-tech and innovative industry, such as investing, computer industry and stocking, acquiring new facts and information might link more directly to the future of a company. Such as in the computer industry, each generation of computers invariably bear some innate deficiencies due to the incomplete development of hardware, program design or other factors. Just realizing these disadvantages would never be the primary concern of an initiative company executive in this industry. Instead, their efforts are targeting at acquire new facts and information to overthrow these limits in order to obtain a dominate role in this area.

To sum up, I believe that in academic field, the acquisition of new facts and information outweigh the reorganization of limits since the former is the starting point in the long-run of scientific competition’ against limited manpower. The endeavor scientist is to march forward and contribute consistently to the development of society instead of stumbling over puzzles that could hardly be tackled. While in the professional field, we categorize them into innovative industry and traditional service industry where the former relay on innovation, fresh idea and immediate information while the later resort more the refining the existing practices in order to excel among competitors.
