求助NUS orientation talk的具体内容 以及汇票开户行的问题

1. nus的orientation talk A具体会讲些什么内容呢（这个最关心）
2.如果去nus读书，开工商银行的汇票方便还是中国银行？传说nus旁边就有工商银行这个事真的么？

1，大概就是让大家知道在NUS怎么生存下去，还有一些必要的心理，医疗和紧急求助的科普吧
2，新加坡有工商银行的？中国银行倒是有不少……但是为啥要做汇票呢?为啥不能在这里拿到学生证回执以后去银行开个户头让家人汇钱过来呢?

那应该去听听那个谈话么，很纠结，本来想晚几天走，又怕错过谈话错过什么重要的事情，会不会说选课之类的东西？

学生证是 student pass 么 那之前那十多天的带多少现金过去合适呀

人在新加坡了么，在的话可以本地银行开户等汇款。不在的话汇票也不错。

汇票不用管开户行是什么，把对方的信息写对了就好。

工行新加坡是有，但是没见过，中行倒是有一些。不过国外的中行工行和国内的中行工行是完全不一样的，没有什么互通，就像大熊猫和小熊猫的区别一样。

开始带的钱按照“需要缴纳的杂费住宿费+一天20新币”算，基本是够了。

如果是全校性大范围的orientation不会具体去讲选课问题的吧……
不过倒是会教你怎样用学校的电子系统倒是真的……

没啥重要事情，还是去吧，不然你会一直觉得缺了点什么，在家也不安心～

跟大猫说的差不多了……
但是因为每个人的消费水平都不一样，通常来的第一个礼拜需要去买些日用品啥的…… 也不知道你住的地方是有没有提供……
但是因为这里基本所有的ATM都可以用银联拿钱哗～ 随便带啦～ 1-2万，2-3万～然后准备一张银联卡，不够钱让家人汇钱进去不就好了吗?

nus周围有DBS；DBS和OCBC，最好选择DBS或者OCBC开户。推荐DBS，因为POSB和DBS的ATM到处都有很方便，OCBC的服务不错也可以考虑，这两家都可以贷款学费。

DBS现在外国人一个月取款四次就要收费……

狂顶OCBC，取款机已经很多了，但是排队的人超级少

Warmest Greetings from the Office of Student Affairs, NUS!

We are pleased to inform you that we have lined up the following events and programme to assist you in making new friends and adapting to life in Singapore and NUS :  

1.  International Students Orientation Briefing – You are strongly encouraged to attend.

The session aims to assist you gain better understanding of the University system and to help you settle in Singapore. It will also be an excellent opportunity to meet other international and local students.



Date/Time: Friday, 25 July 2012, 3pm

Venue: LT 27 (Faculty of Science) [a copy of the map is attached for your reference]

Note :  (i) To report at least 10 minutes before the start of the event.
(ii) You may wish to bring a jacket/cardigan with you as the lecture theatre can be quite cold.

2.  OSA Welcome Fest for new international students

    This event is specially planned for you by the Resident Assistants and student volunteers from the i.CARE Network. The objective is to assist you to settle in and integrate into NUS and Singapore. Events include sports, tours, senior sharing, Singapore Night, etc.

4.            International Student Guide

This guide is specially prepared to assist you in your journey to NUS and Singapore. Do also take time to read the Registration Guide (for Graduate Research students) or information package sent by your faculty/school (for coursework students) as it contains key administrative matters that you need to attend to.

   

Need help after arriving in NUS and Singapore?
