题目是Whether it is important to governments to take responsibilities to accept mistakes
Accepting responsibility for mistakes is agood quality for normal people. If a person has courage to take a response of his faults, not only will he improve for himself but leave a good impression toothers. However, is that will be the same sense to the political stuffs?Personally I think it depends on situations. Political ways are different from ways thatnormal people act. Politics are more complicated than individual’s behaviors. There are a lot of considerations that a government should take care, and ithas to balance these considerations and then to make a final decision. Moreover, actions or decisions of a government are not based on the moral rulesor other universal rules adapted to individuals, but based on the benefits ofthe country. Hence, when we take a look on government’s actions, we should notlook at a moral perspective but a beneficial one. So, if we look at those actions as beneficialperspectives, whether the characteristic of in responsible to mistakes areimportant, is a complicated issue. Here is an example. If we assume a countrymeets a confliction in domestic, and the origin of the turmoil is unknown. Inthat situation, is it the right thing that the government just admits itsfaults and steps down from the position? Not exactly. A blindness to make anapology and step down from the authority may just only causes domestic to haveconflictions more fiercely. So, in that situation, the best choice may not takea responsibility for the faults, but may make the situation stable and bringthe country into peace. On the contrary, if we just assume another situation inwhich the government makes something wrong to cause a dissatisfaction of thepublic, maybe the best choice is to make a public announcement to make anapology. In a word, whether governments should take responsibilities to acceptmistakes, is just depending on the situations that they faced with. In conclusion, whether the responsibility to acceptmistakes are important, is not the essential part because we have differentstandards between ordinary people and politics. In that perspective, responsibilityto accept mistakes may not important because the responsibilities are only justtools of making the benefits.
