Foreign Applicants

Numbers of Foreign Students Admitted into UCLA ACCESS

UCLA ACCESS is proud of its tradition of welcoming international students who received their undergraduate training outside of the United States. Each year we receive between 200 and 300 applications from students who are not US citizens or permanent residents. For financial reasons, unfortunately, we are limited in the number of international students that we can accept into the ACCESS Program each year. Although it varies from one year to the next, very few offers of admission are made to students who would require F1 visas to matriculate. That translates into an international population of some six students in an incoming class.
Financial Support

International students, living in the USA under the auspices of an F1 (student) visa, will receive full support for a minimum of five years. This includes a stipend, health insurance, and the payment of university registration fees and non-resident tuition.
Verification of Application Materials

We are aware that in contrast to the United States, generation and posting of transcripts in some countries is often left to the individual applicant. Accordingly, we will verify the accuracy and authenticity of all transcripts that we receive from applicants to whom we intend to make offers of admission. Similarly, authors of letters of recommendation will be verified and their letters sent back for certification. The inability to verify these materials as well as any evidence of inaccuracies or irregularities in the reporting of coursework or grades will lead us to withhold an offer of admission.

UCLA录取的国际生很有限，特别是PHD录取的相当一部分给了中国参加过UCLA-CSST项目的学生，如果LZ没有很强的背景或者CONNECTION的话，谨慎申请

问了小米说他们一般不招收international students。看来去不了ucla了。

听ACCESS的DIRECTOR说，每年招4个CSST项目学生+4-5个国际学生，所以估计非CSST的中国学生招2个最多了，竞争的确很惨烈
