0814作文：Do you agree of disagree with the following statement? People are now easier to become educated than in the past?

Education is always a hot topic in modern society. Most countries pay more and more attention to education and the governments spend more money than before supporting the education, such as building schools, training teachers, reducing tuition. Many people also start to realize the importance of education and they try their best to gain good education for better future. Therefore, in this overall environment, I totally agree the statement that people are now easier to become educated than in the past.

First of all, with the assistance of government and the development of economy, the cost of education is not a difficult problem any more. In the past, there were very little schools and only the rich people or the aristocrats could accept education. For common people, they could not afford the tuition and going to school was like a dream. While nowadays, a great deal of kindergartens, elementary schools or high schools are built by government all over the country. Even some cities institute (build 或set 比较好吧，很少用 institute school 之类的 )the university to let people gain advanced education. At the same time, many countries do not get tuition from the people for primary education and provide many chances for the poor people to win scholarship to go to universities. For example, some of my classmates in the university come from the remote regions. Their family can not afford the tuition any more, but they get the scholarship from the university and the government with their effort to finish school.(觉得例子可以再详细一点，这样比较有说服力)

Furthermore, more and more education methods has (have)appeared (appear 就行了 后面 就不用 for people 了 感觉用了表达不地道 )for people. The modern mode of education is not only the traditional way that people need to go to school for accepting education. For the people who are not convenient to go to school or have worked, they can gain education by reading different books and taking part in short-term training classes. Even many universities start to offer television courses and Internet courses for the people of different countries. Therefore, regardless （regardless 有无视的意思 用在这似乎表达不准确，去掉吧 我改一下 gaining education become easier than before to children and adults, even old people）children and adults, even old people, gaining education become easier than before undoubtedly.

In sum, accepting good education is a very common thing for people in modern society. Education has become a long-term investment for persons or countries to some extent. So I strongly support the opinion that people are now easier to become educated than in the past.
