教授二：Thanks for your interest in my group.  I typically take students already admitted by chemistry department.  I encourage your application to our Ph.D. program.

教授三：Thank you for your interest in my research group. In order to be considered for my lab you will need to apply through the university. You can find information at the following website: http://www.chem.indiana.edu/graduate/index.asp

教授四：You need to apply for graduate school program at UW.

教授五：hanks for your interest. Applications for graduate school at UC Davis are handled by the graduate group admission committees, not by individual professors. Please, apply through the appropriate grad group websites.

1.这样的回复代表什么意思呢，是教授根本没有能力左右招生委员的决定呢，还是说对我根本不感兴趣呢？
2.以及这个怎么处理来着？

如果楼主各方面都满足研院和系里的minimum requirements. 就先申请，可以在SOP里提到自己想要合作或感兴趣的教授。如果兴趣很match的话，教授会留意你的，在录取的时候。UW貌似是这样，我是申了之后学术套了一个教授，她回信说很“look for my application”。教授自己木有直接录取学生的权利，如果她说招人，你就正常申就行。
