Do you agree with the viewpoint that people are now easier to become educated than in the past?



With the fast development of time and technology, people nowadays values education far more than the past. What's more, the various educational places such as colleges, organizations as well as high-tech methods such as Internet, TV, also help people to get education. Therefore, in my point, people are now easier to become educated than in the past.

  First of all, in today's world, people pay more attention to education than ever. Since getting a higher degree means a lot to a person, for example, they can get higher positions in a good company and get more money. In China, a great amount of teenagers go to college every year and get their undergraduate degrees since they want to have a opportunity to pursue their dreams. Even with undergraduate degrees, many people are not satisfied and still go for a graduate degree or even higher. Their insistent studies may come from their own interests, however, many of them doing this because they can get a good position in a good company. With the highly developed technology, people now face the big pressure and standard. And all of those standards require high educations. That's a reason why people today are easier to become educated.

  What's more, getting education is much easier than in the past. There are so many educational institutions such as universities, colleges and other kinds of organizations which can offer satisfied educations. In China, almost every city has its own universities or colleges and some big cities such as capital Beijing and super city Shanghai, have far more than a hundred colleges which offer educations of thousands fields. Good students can apply better schools all over the country such as Beijing University to get professional education, and they even can apply for abroad universities such as Harvard and MIT. Normal level students can apply normal universities and can also apply overseas' universities too. What' more, there are many universities and colleges that give elder people lessons. With this huge number of institutions, we can get access to education much easier.

   Last but not least, there are so many convenient methods to let people get education, such as Internet, TV, and lots of educational software. Using Internet, we can have a distance education at any places and any time we want. Many famous universities today offer distance lessons to the whole public. We can easily get education from a foreign university. What's more, many public lessons' videos can be downloaded from Itunes, and those lessons are given by famous professors from top universities of the world such as UCLA and Yale. We can learn more knowledge from various aspects. With the help of those high-tech methods, it is not like that we don't have methods to be educated in the past, and we can positively choose our own interested study to learn.

   From all the points discussed above, we can know that nowadays, education is much easier to get access than ever before. Not only because we value education more, but also we have various chooses about where to study and many ways about how to study.

It is more important to choose friends that have fun with than to choose friends that will help you when you need them.



With the development of time and technology, people now have more friends than before. We even can have friends all over the world. So there is a hot discussed question: whether we choose someone funny or someone who can help us to be our friends. Some people hold the opinion that funny people will be their first choice. However, in my point of view, I will choose someone that will help me when I need help to be my real friend.

It is definitely great to have someone funny to be your friend. Their personalities are so attractive and they can make everyone laugh which is really amazing. If you are in a bad mood, this kind of friends will absolutely be your favorite guests. You can talk to them about your blue days and they can comfort you and really make you happy again. That thing can not be done by everyone, especially someone who is not good at speaking. So have a friend who is really fun can color your life and leave you good impression about them.

However, if your friend who is funny suddenly disappears when you are in trouble, how would you feel about it? Funny? Most people definitely not agree with that. On the other hand, you will feel being abandoned, lonely and helpless even betrayed. If some friends help you get out of your trouble and stand by you all the time when you are in need. What would you feel about it? That's a feeling that only true friends will give you, which is warm and moved. An old saying states that a friend in need is a friend indeed, and there is a philosophy principle in it, right? Imagine you have an emergency, and your life is threatening, you will definitely thank god to give you a true friend who can help you.

  A true friend should be someone who not only shares happiness but also shares sorrows with you. Those who can just make you laugh but not keep you company when you are in need, is not a real friend. However, in order to deserve those friends, we must make sure that we can share happiness and sorrows with our friends and try our best to help them when they are in trouble. Everything is mutual, we can not require our friends to have good quality but we don't.

  From what have been discussed above, I think I have made my point clear, which is  I will choose someone who can help me when I am in need to be my friend. Because I think that is a quality that is necessary for true friends.
