Graduate Research Assistantship in Plant Biology at Purdue University

The laboratory of Yun Zhou (https://ag.purdue.edu/btny/Pages ... 750&intDirDeptID=10) in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology at Purdue University is seeking highly motivated applicants for the PhD position for Spring of 2022 (or Fall of 2022). The research assistantship of a PhD student provides fully financial support including the tuition waiver and stipend. English proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS) is required for non-native English-speaking international applicants. The PhD projects aim to determine the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying meristem development and shoot stem cell homeostasis, through a combination of molecular genetics, live cell imaging, biochemistry and functional genomic approaches.
