语法困惑 很奇怪奇怪~~

They deem that focusing on one certain area could keep competitiveness among its competitor and 【creates】 better products for customers.

疑点是那个creates 有没有s呀 因为如果focusing 做主语 是第三人称没错  但前面对应的keep前有个could情态动词 那个情态动词影不影响这个时态呀？？

觉得应该用creates，and相当于一个天平，前后应该是两个地位相等的成分，感觉creates或者换用could create才是和前面的could才是对等的
另一种解释，我查到and连接的两个成分可以表示因果关系，有个例句如下
she could not find her mother and began to cry.

我觉得应该是create，不应该有s，这句话and前后两个分句都是连上could才更通顺

and 并列的是   keep 和 creat

can 在表示“能；能力”的时候，有三层意思（来源： Longman Language Activator）:

1. to be able to do something
e.g.: He can run faster than me.
       This program can translate your email into other languages.
       Adrian could read when he was four.

2. when a situation makes it possible for you to do something
e.g.: I don't have an appointment, but I wonder if the dentist could see me today.
        I hope we can find a parking space.
        You can probably get most of the information you need from the Internet.

3. to be allowed to do something or have the power to do it

        It's my house and I can do whatever I want here.
        At that time, the king could simply have his enemies imprisoned or shot.

我的理解是，无论用could create 还是creates，语法上都是对的。而这里的关键点是作者会根据自己想表达的意思来选择用那个结构。提高竞争力，是抽象的东西，所以用could，是上面的第2种意思，表示一种可能性。而提高产品的质量，这个是实实在在的，所以不加could。这只是我的推测。建议LZ把context一起贴出来，方便大家细究。

这里是这样子啦 比如今天我改的一个作文句子
who does not want to stay in a cozy and warm house and enjoy a total relax
他后面的enjoy的意思是和前面not相连的 但是那么远连的到么 而且如果and 用结果的用法的话 语法也说的通 但是意思就完全变了
