Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? At universities and colleges, sports and social activities are just as important as classes and libraries and should receive equal financial support. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I disagree with the statement that sports and social activities are on the same level with classes and libraries.therefore the priority of finacial support should remain focused on classes and libraries.

With the advancements and its accompaning modifications presented in all aspects of society,the general populace views pertaining to education also shifted.people now tend tend to believe that the holistic development of a college university studnet is of the most importance,and the amount of time and energy that a student participating sports events and social activities ought to be the same as he spending on attending classes and reading in the libraries.naturaly they assume due to the significant developement and potential glory the sports and social activities could bring the student about,the subsidy those sports and social fields received should on the same level with the subsidy for the classes and libraries.i concede that the extracurricular activities regarding sport and sociability serves a role virtually promotes the holistic development of a student,but i have to point out that those activities only funtions as a complement factor rather than the dominant prerequisites to the student's wholly development.

Foremost among the problems that connected with the statement is that it is faulty in nature.the universities and colleges themself,by default, is a public facility that dedicated to the improvement and illumination of human by a varied means of education.that is to say,without the fundermental role the education played in the stage,the whole ivory tower will shatter and topple.for instance,the training procerdure of average physican and lawyer requires the participant spending the majority of their time in the library reading and attending career related lectures.only through such an extended period of time spent in studying can they fully prepare themself for their upcoming competitive career.therefore the fact that  student should study in library and attend lectures is undeniabe.extracurricular activities such as sports and socialization seldomly involved as a significant factor when it come to career prepartions.which physican would be more desirable in hospital? an fully dedicated physican with expertise on all related fileds or a tennis champion with a doctor degree?

Aside from the indisputable fact that education is the corner stone in the campus,the overabundant extracurricular activities may serve as a mean of distracion to the students.for example,a civil engineer in his internship will have to fully concentrated on the plotting sketches for the building programs.that period of time is highly demanded and praised,given the professional results from him is satisfying and convincing.this will be an extremly tight-in-schedule period of time,the duration can not interrupted as long as the sparetime activities and hobbies remaind on an acceptable range.This is a typical example of how indulgence of events like sports and social activities may yeild negative impact upon one's study and possibly jeopardize their career by distract them from the main course.

To put in a nutshell,it’s time to end the sports and social events are equally important in the cultivation that rarely has been more profitable and double down on the holistic development cliche that never has been more promising.the outmost influence the classes attending and library studying exerted shall never be ignored or overlooked,and the extracurricular activities may be positive impact on holistic development of students as long as it is not undue.
