Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Universities spend money on improving facilities (labs and general equipments) better than hiring famous teachers.

When it comes to whether universities should spend money on improving facilities better than hiring famous teachers, many people hold different opinion. Some people support the statement because they believe the advance facilities could attract much more excellent students to study in the university. But others think the famous teachers are much more important for students to study, the universities should spend money on hiring famous teachers. As far as I concerned, I support the improving facilities and hiring famous teachers are equally important for the universities to develop better in the future. My arguments are listed as follows.
First of all, advanced facilities for universities are basic factors to attract excellent students. The universities have duty to improve facilities. For example, computers are very important for information labs. If there are no enough computers in the lab, students may have few opportunities to study software technology. As a result, these computer major students have poor capacity on computer, and are hard to look for job after graduation. On the contrary, such bad employment will influence potential candidate to apply for the university. Therefore, universities should spend money to improve the facilities, which could give students good education condition and attract much more excellent students to study.
Secondly, hiring famous teachers is a good measure to improve quality of teachers, which could help students study well. Teachers directly influence the quality of lecture. Good teachers may provide excellent course for students, and help students learn new knowledge as soon as possible. Good teachers know how to help students solve difficult on the process of study, students may be easy to receive the help from good teachers. If universities hire famous teachers for students, students will benefit from these famous teachers' lecture and gain new knowledge. In addition, the famous teachers are an important factor to appear candidates to apply the universities. So universities hire famous teachers not only improve the quality of teachers and help students study well, but also benefit the universities attract excellent students to study.
Finally, it is not mutually exclusive for universities to spend money on hiring famous teachers and improving the facilities. Generally, universities could spend money to improve the facilities, like library and lab, for students. Students directly benefits from good facilities and study well. On the other hand, universities also spend some money to hiring famous teachers. The famous teachers not only improve the reputation for the universities, but also help students study well for courses. It is mutual promotion for universities to spend money on hiring famous teachers and improving facilities.
In conclusion, the hiring famous teachers and improving facilities are equally important for universities. The development of universities needs universities to improving facilities because advanced facilities could provide good condition for students’ study. The improvement of reputation universities demand the universities hiring famous teachers because these teachers give good lectures for students and attract much more potential candidate to study. So the universities should spend money on hiring famous teachers and improving facilities at the same time.
