18"Only by being forced to defend an idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others does one really discover the value of that idea."

Position: It is true that defending one's own idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others will contribute to discover the value of that idea., but it is not the only way.

A Everyone has his own thought, and there is always something that  has not been taken into consideration when one's idea forms.
B Doubts and contrasting views of others will bring new perspects.
C When defending those doubts and contrasting views, one can scrutinize the idea, and probably get new and better thoughts.
D If without others' doubts and contrasting views, one can still improve his idea.

In the circle of academy, it is reputed that others' doubts and contrasting views are valuable for a certain idea that has been formed, for it is just these objecting thoughts that let the fouder of the idea really discover the value of that idea. In fact, any subject is proved by this way. Thus, many academicians are eager to be challenged by his rivals. It is quite correct that defending one's idea is beneficial for understanding the value of the idea, although it is not the only method.

Everyone has his thought, and on most circumstances, there is nearly no chances for all these thoughts to be the same, or similar. While we are studying a certain question, we just view it with our own background, our own knowledge, and our own position. Consequently, there must be something that we have not taken into consideration. Then, to absorb what other think is essential. There is no subject that is formed just by one our several people, without others' doubts and contrasting views, including the enigma Albert Einstein's Relativity Theory. When he worked out the mysterious theory in 1905, so many doubts came. Fortunately Einstein was not headstrong, and he accepted those challenges, continuing working on the theory, and then, another improved theory was born in 1915, the Wide Relativity Theory. It is easy for us to see that those doubts and contrasting views, although extrodinarily piercinig, indeed did a favor to Einstein, to develop his idea, which proved  to be the greatest one in the history of physics, even of mankind. Many other cases of this kind are countless, and they all emphysize the significence of others doubts and contrasting views.

Then, what do those doubt bring to a formed idea? In fact, each doubt represents one perspect, which differs from the one of the formed idea. There will never be a person that is able to study a subject, or consider an event from all perspects, which is so giant a program. Each of us has our own view, which differs from other's, even on the same event. Let us just see the policy of baby-born in China, which is opposed by the United States, who argues that it is a deprivation of the human rights, but China, who has indeed benefitted from this policy, insists that it is suitable for the development of the whole nation. Maybe that is the where two perspects differs. The US, who has only a population of a little more than 200 millions but shares no less than half of the all the energy of the world, will certainly not think that a heavy population will retard the momentum of the nation's development, which, in the meantime, plagues China, who has the largest population in the world, that is more than 1.3 billions. Then, if the Congress of the US have the exact knowledge about China, maybe it will not accuse China of the violation of the human rights every year. Different perspects, to a high degree, will enlargen one's scope, and imbue more new thoughts to an idea. So, getting an idea is not the end of all. To take others' doubts proves much more crucial.

However, it can never be asserted that only by being forced to defend an idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others does one really discover the value of that idea, although it is really useful. Apart from this, we can also widen our view by reading and some other media positively. It is our goal to diminish the limitation of our idea, and take more facts into consideration.

In sum, if we intend to discuss the value of our own idea, we can act in many effective ways, of which, defending it against the doubts and contrasting views of others is a relatively better way.

18"Only by being forced to defend an idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others does one really discover the value of that idea."

Position: It is true that defending one's own idea against the doubts and contrasting views of others will contribute to discover the value of that idea, but it is not the only way.

A Everyone has his own thought(ANGLE), and there is always something that has not been taken into consideration when one's idea forms.
B Doubts and contrasting views of others will bring new perspects.
C When defending those doubts and contrasting views, one can scrutinize the idea, and probably get new and better thoughts.
D If without others' doubts and contrasting views, one can still improve his idea.
循序渐进,不错。

In the circle of academy, it is reputed that others' doubts and contrasting views are valuable for a certain idea that has been formed, for it is just these objecting thoughts that let the fouder of the idea really discover the value of that idea. In fact, any subject is proved by this way. Thus, many academicians are eager to be challenged by his rivals. (是这样吗?)It is quite correct that defending one's idea is beneficial for understanding the value of the idea, although it is not the only method.

There is no subject that is formed just by one our several people, without others' doubts and contrasting views, including the enigma Albert Einstein's Relativity Theory.(这个句子不通) When he worked out the mysterious theory in 1905, so many doubts came. Fortunately Einstein was not headstrong, and he accepted those challenges, continuing working on the theory, and then, another improved theory was born in 1915, the Wide Relativity Theory. It is easy for us to see that those doubts and contrasting views, although extraordinarily piercing(extraordinary 1 a : going beyond what is usual, regular, or customary *extraordinary powers*  b : exceptional to a very marked extent *extraordinary beauty*  c of a financial transaction   : NONRECURRING
2 : employed for or sent on a special function or service *an ambassador extraordinary*,FROM MW。是用在褒义词之前吧), indeed did a favor to Einstein, to develop his idea, which proved to be the greatest one in the history of physics, even of mankind. Many other cases of this kind are countless, and they all emphysize the significence of others doubts and contrasting views.(不通)

Then, what do those doubt bring to a formed idea? In fact, each doubt represents one perspect, which differs from the one of the formed idea. There will never be a person that is able to study a subject, or consider an event from all perspects, (AS THE SAYING GOSE,EVERYONE HAS HIS OWN ANGLE)which is so giant a program. Each of us has our own view, which differs from other's, even on the same event. (重复一次前句内容干什么?)Let us just see the policy of baby-born in China, which is opposed by the United States, who argues that it is a deprivation of the human rights, but China, who has indeed benefitted from this policy, insists that it is suitable for the development of the whole nation(具体讲明白,有哪些作用).

It is our goal to diminish the limitation of our idea, and take more facts into consideration.继续发展,这个段落论证不充分。

In sum, if we intend to discuss the value of our own idea, we can act in many effective ways, of which, defending it against the doubts and contrasting views of others is a relatively better way。

还有一个问题就是在这种问题中少使用第一和第二人称,首先一个是缺乏客观性和严谨,再就是很容易造成重复使用某些代词比如WE大量出现的情况。
