关于personal statement的问题。

各位学长学姐以及前辈们。我准备申请明年的NTU电力工程或者NUS的电子工程。谈到写PS的问题我是完全不知道从何下手。。也不知道这些究竟是要包括自己的哪些东西。我在网上看了一些关于写PS的教程之类的，其中的一些例子我觉得以我现在的水平肯定是写不出来的。不知道大家当初都是怎么处理的？难道真要找那些公司修改什么的吗？

然后再找学校认识的英语专业的润色了一下

Personal statement is not very difficult. Remember the most important thing is to be yourself. You are the one and only in this world.
At least, you should state three things.
First, you should show your "ability" in cousework or research. Or, you could finish the study.
Second, you should show what you want to do in and after graduate school.
Third, you should differentiate yourself from other applicants.
Advanced personal statement should also contain:
1. why you want to study in NUS/NTU, why you are interested in the majors you chose;
2. why you want to get a graduate degree
3. your written English is good, do not present any mistake in PS, especially when your TOEFL writting score is less than 25
4. your contribution to the class/lab/school

If possible, try to read some good personal statement. Then you can easily recognize what a GOOD one looks like.

确实看了一些~就是觉得自己写的话应该用不出来那种句子，怕影响的申请。。
