Post-Doc Openings:

Dr. Wei Zhang, an associate professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering
Department at Virginia Commonwealth University, is currently looking for qualified post-docs
to perform research in the fields of real-time and embedded systems, compiler, computer
architecture, and security.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Excellent
programming skill in C/C++ (or Java) is a must. Research experiences and strong publications in
compiler, computer architecture, security, and embedded systems are required. Additional
requirements include outstanding communication and writing skills in English and the ability to
develop original research agendas.

RA Openings:

Dr. Wei Zhang, an associate professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering

graduate students to perform research in the fields of real-time and embedded systems, compiler,
computer architecture, and security.

Applicants should have a M.S or B.S degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a
closely related discipline. Excellent programming skill in C/C++ (or Java) is a must. Research
background or deep understanding in compiler, computer architecture, security, or embedded
computing is highly preferred. Preference will be given to Ph.D. students who have had relevant
M.S. research or industrial experience in compiler, computer architecture, security, and
embedded systems.
