Issue239:"Much of the information that people assume is 'factual' actually turns out to be inaccurate. Thus, any piece of information referred to as a 'fact' should be mistrusted since it may well be proven false in the future."

I agree that much of the information that people assume is "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate, as the enrichment and establishment of nature science architecture and the development of human society. Well, does it mean that we should mistrust any piece of information referred to as a "fact" only because it may well be proven false in the future? The answer is certainly no.

There is much of the information that people assume is "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate. For example, in ancient time, people certainly believed that the earth was the center of the universe and other stars rotated around it, they drew this conclusion from the factual phenomenon of the sun and the moon, which are the only celestial bodies that they can obviously obverse at that time. The sun rises from the east and falls to the west and the moon turns out in night and disappears in daylight day after day, month after month, year after year. So it seems very factual and right for ancient people that the earth located in the middle of the universe and other heaven bodies were rolling around it. But, many years later, with the more the knowledge learned by people with more sophisticated scientific technology of the universe are known the more clearly that the earth is not only the center of universe but also of the Milky Way galaxy. Therefore the former conclusion was overthrown. This instance shows us that no matter how factual the fact looks like, it can be proved to be false later.

Since there is the chance that some of the information we now think is accurate may be inaccurate one day, we should seriously examine it in suspicious way before applying it into our situation, instead of that to totally deny it just because of its possible imprecise. On one hand, the inaccurate information that we once thought to be accurate turns to be fallacious later probably are perfunctorily accurate and we did not notice this or we could not know this as a result of our limits of knowledge and ability in this field at that time. This asks us to check every piece of information we want to use beforehand. One easy way is to ask questions, such as "why the information demands to work in this way?", "why the information does not demand to work in the other way?", "what are the preconditions of the information and whether our current situation meets the preconditions perfectly?", "how the information is educed?" and so on. As we know and notice more about the information, the opportunity that the superficial phenomenon covering our eyes is largely decreased. Furthermore, we get the chance to discover more about the information. On the other hand, if we do not trust all the information just because it may be inaccurate some day, our work will be significantly restricted even can not carry on, then we not only can not make sure the veracity of the information but also can not gain any improvement and knowledge.

However, there must be some information that has been proved to be accurate by great scientists using powerful and exact proof. As to this information, we can apply boldly without concerning too much. For example, the axiom in mathematics that all positive numbers are bigger than any negative number, in geometry that the shortest line between two points is straight line, and so on.

In a word, there is much information that people assume is 'factual' actually turns out to be inaccurate, which agog demands us to consider carefully before using the information, but we should not take all information mistrusted, and still some information with rigid authentications that we can use without dubitation exists.

Much of the information that people assume is 'factual' actually turns out to be inaccurate.
2 说referred to as a 'fact' should be mistrusted since it may well be proven false in the future." 这种态度是错误的,应该是重点
3 说any piece of information  中any 是错误的 有很多例外 和1比哪个重要说呢?

I agree that much of the information that people assume is "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate, as the enrichment and establishment (两个倒过来比较好)of nature science architecture and the development of human society. Well(口语气息有点浓哦), does it mean that we should mistrust any piece of information referred to as a "fact" only because it may well be proven false in the future? The answer is certainly no.(是no还是not?

[There is] much of the information that people assume is(as) "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate. For example, in ancient time, people certainly(took ... for granted) believed that the earth was the center of the universe and other stars rotated around it(这里应该是一般现在时还是过去时?), they drew this conclusion from the factual phenomenon of the sun and the moon, which are the only celestial bodies that they can obviously obverse at that time.

Since there is the(a) chance that some of the information we now think is(as) accurate may be (become)inaccurate one day, we should seriously(这儿应该不是"严肃地"的意思吧,seriously 经常做的意思是"严重地"指伤害等,一般不修饰态度) examine it in suspicious way before applying it into our situation, instead of that to totally deny it just because of its possible imprecise. On one hand, the inaccurate information that we once thought to be accurate turns to be fallacious later probably are perfunctorily accurate and we did not notice this or we could not know this as a result of our limits of knowledge and ability in this field at that time. (这种句子写多了,阅卷的老美会有被报复的感觉,母语国家的人看这种长句子也会累的)This asks us to check every piece of information we want to use beforehand.

However, there must be some information that has been proved to be accurate by great scientists using powerful(relevant、valid... As to this information, we can apply boldly(感情色彩太严重) without concerning too much. For example, the axiom in mathematics that all positive numbers are bigger than any negative number, in geometry that the shortest line between two points is straight line, and so on.

In a word, there is much information that people assume is 'factual' actually turns out to be inaccurate, which agog (agog用的不对,agog to do sth.或make sb agog……这种词改卷子的可能不会懂——别高看了他们,慎用)demands us to consider carefully before using the information, but (it may be inporper for us to ... should是issue中十分不常用的一个词,太武断太强制)we should not take all information mistrusted, and still some information with rigid authentications that we can use without dubitation exists.

I agree that much of the information that people assume is "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate, as the enrichment and establishment (是不是先后不对啊)of nature science architecture and the development of human society. Well(在正式的文章中应该杜绝这样的用法,口语!!!!), does it mean that we should mistrust any piece of information referred to as a "fact" only because it may well be proven false in the future? The answer is certainly no.

There is much of the information that people assume is "factual" actually turns out to be inaccurate(避免完全重复的引用全文,就算要也不要多次这样做,会影响对你的表达水平的评价). For example, in ancient time, people certainly(口语化!) believed that the earth was the center of the universe and other stars rotated around it, they drew this conclusion from the(SO CALLED) factual phenomenon of the sun and the moon, which are the only celestial bodies that they can obviously obverse at that time. The sun rises from the east and falls to the west and the moon turns out in night and disappears in daylight day after day, month after month, year after year.

Since there is the(a) chance that some of the information we now think(believe,regard…..) is(as) accurate may be (become)inaccurate one day, we should seriously(?) examine it in suspicious way before applying (it) into our situation, instead of that to totally deny it just because of its possible imprecise.
