In addition, as the knowledge of nature transmitted by the television programs, more and more people aware how harmful of an overbalancing ecology and actively engage in the protection of the nature, involving planting trees to protect from deforestation, rescuing rare animals from extinction, purifying water from pollution, and so on. Under the instruction of the television programs, a large group of people act as protectors of the natural world and energetically build our common family---Earth.

Secondly, television enhance he communication between different ethnics, which extremely eliminates misunderstanding between different countries and narrow the difference in the various culture. Owning to the advanced technique of the satellites, there is no problems to receive the programs in every corn of the world. As a result, Chinese people are increasingly accepting the norm of the Americans, advocating the value of adventure, independence and competition. Besides, as the news reported, the events arouse in a country will be quickly transmitted to other countries. Take Indian for instance. When India come across disasters of earthquake, many victims were received the materials donated by people in other countries. Then, India would get ride of this unfortunate suffer. Thus, with the television, people unite as a whole family, interact one another, and help mutually.

Finally, television as an effective ways of advertisement will significantly accelerate the consumption of products. It is the nature of humane beings to imitate the behaviors of celebrators. In other words, a product consumed by a famous actor will be rapidly accepted by average people; a behavior acted by a well-know star will be copied fast, from a modern haircut to the language used. For example, the princess Diana has been prompting a fashion of clothes in the world and will influence the followers as well.

Admittedly, the disadvantages of television are obvious, especially embodied in the teenagers. According to the violent actions in the television programs, youths dream of being recognized as a hero and act violently correspondingly, which inevitably leads to the increase of the rate of the social criminalities. Furthermore, as the expansion of the sexual programs transmission, more and more anthropologists are obliged to prompt mortal education of teenagers and warn that certain television programs should be forbidden from the people who are under eighteen-year-old. What is more, the advertisement of smoke, alcohol imposes a hidden trouble on human beings.

To sum up, television affects the behavior of people in advantageous and disadvantageous ways. On the hand, it is as a means of education to instruct people behave virtually, as a tool of communication to enhance the understanding between various people, s a ways of advertisement to prompt consumption of products. On the other hand, the programs, such sexual programs and violent programs has elicit a great number of social issues.
