Society should make efforts to save endangered species only if the potential extinction of those species is the result of human activities.

People often feel guilty about what human beings have done to animals, which are listed on the endangered animals. So does society have to make efforts to save endangered species only if the potential extinction of those species is the result of human activities? I don't think so. Though we should take action on preventing precious animals from disappearing, efforts to forcing them alive are not necessary, not to mention a great deal of costs, human resources and disobedience against the natural law.

Admittedly, price should be payed for part of animal extinction caused by us. Increase of the velocity of cutting down trees and plants decreases the living regions of various animals, which are the basis of the animal kingdom. According to the documentary film, The Cove, residents lived there take advantage of the geographic area to kill the dolphins fecklessly.  A village held 3500 people captures more than 2000 dolphins per year, especially during the spring. Local law should be made to protect these poor friends. It is not only for them but also for us self-preservation. Playing a role in the social and natural society, we can't escape the fate of the natural law. Based on the food provided by plants and animals make us alive.

However, excessive preservation is unnecessary. Firstly, natural selection, proposed by Darwin, presents the principal of the evolution. As nature developing, some species exist and some exit, which make the balance of the earth. Darwinism definitely supports selective evolution, which emphasize on the fitness of superior. The classical theory about longneck giraffes, used to own a short neck, survived among the selection.

Another core argument is much more convincing that logic should over the emotion. If a country owns extra money to build a natural preservation area, totally agreements are provided. However, there are still several billion people suffering hunger and poor, dying from shrived. In Africa, millions of people die every day because of basic living problem like starve or thirst. Facing the serious problem around the world, leaders should consider human life first. Emotional action never overrides logic. Rational behaviors rank first as think about huge decisions.

Even if urgent action has to be taken right now about the guard of endangered animals, human benefits always mean foremost.
