The article is trying to convince us that the excavations from Iraq in 1938 should not be applied as batteries to produce the electricty, and the claim is totally contradict to the lecturer's standing point, which given several evidences to refute the passage.
First, the author pointed out that presume that the vessels are really used to generate electricity, there maybe some electricity conductors used as well. But the excavations did not contain any of the useful mental that could be apply as conducter, so the assumption is absolutely unwarranted. But in the leture the profession just pointed out the fact that these excavations were discoveried by local people,and most of them are not professional in archeology, so even if they might found some mental wires or other kind of conductors, they may not notice the significant of these findings, so the evidence could be ignored.
  Second, in the passage the author also argues that the copper cylinders inside the jars is look the same as those found in an ancient city nearby, and the utility of those cylinders is to hold scrolls, so he reach a conclusion that the excavations is likely apply for the same use as well. But the teachers just do not agree with this inference, for the similarity here can not prove anything.  Even though the copper cylinders might be originally desigened for holding scrolls, but laterly, they found that when fulfilled with liquid, these jars can produce magic energy--electricity. That is, the original use of these things can be replaced by the utility in generating electricity.
   For the last one, whether the electricity have practical value for the ancient people? The author holds the view that there was no devices that could make the use of that power, but the teacher suggest two applications of electricity in ancient times. This magic invisible power can be use to thill the others and convince them they possess mysery power. Also, doctors nowadays always apply mild electricity current to release the pain in muscles or legs, the same use in ancient people for healing.

第一次写综合写作，估计里面还得有很多拼写错误。。。。好忐忑，求大神们点评了。。。是TPO25的部分。。。


还有，这些字数够了吗？是不是需要一个结尾？
