I applied visa this morning at Consulate General Hong Kong. The visa unit kept my offer letters & application forms and asked me to fax a flight itinerary to them. I then have a travel agency faxed an itinerary to them. After that, they told me to wait for their further call.

Maybe they would like to verify some information before issue me the visa. Hope it will not take too long.

can I ask a question?  did you come to HK for a temporary visit?  I might go there for a conference in May, and may change my visa, is there anything that prevents me from doing that?  any suggestion?
