To Whom it May Concern,
I take great pleasure in recommending Mr. XXX who is presently applying for admission in your graduate program. As the Associate Dean of the School of XXX in XXX University, as well as his class adviser in four courses, I believe I am one of the best persons who can vouch for his application.
Having known him for two years, I consider XX an outstanding student with independent mind in the department. During the course of Interviewing and Reporting in his second year of university, I was astonished by his quick absorption of new knowledge and strong independent learning ability. This course required a deep understanding of journalism and the ability to utilize, in which his swift response to intellectual challenge greatly impressed me. Laudably, he put his heart and considerable intelligence into the work. I still remember one of his marvelous works, with thorough consideration and profound thoughts, featuring a journalist, attracted me in the first glance. We discussed the modification of this promising work together and perfected it into one of the most outstanding ones among his fellow classmates.
Studying with conscientiousness, XX could constantly put forward different views to public issues in class, which indicated his extensive reading and valuable personal understanding. He studied not just to pass the exams, but for the genuine understanding of people as well as the society. This has won him appreciation from not just me but my colleagues as well. But he did do well in exams too. In the last two years, as far as I know, he got over 90 scores in all my courses.
The positive impression made by Mr.X has been repeatedly strengthened by his motivation and upward mobility. As the head of the school, I noticed he had participated in almost every college organized high-end academic activities. Furthermore, he took full advantage of every chance to enhance the level of his own. For the sake of him, I formally recommended him to get an internship in a media research institute and a prestigious media. Thankfully, he did all well in these organizations.
Well grounded in the theories of communications and relevant research methodologies of social science, XXX should make an outstanding student in graduate studies. His devotion and enthusiasm, together with remarkable intellect, enabled him to outshine his peers. Therefore, I strongly recommend him admission without reservation, and would appreciate your most favorable consideration to her application.
If I can be of any further assistance, or provide you with any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours Sincerely,
