I take great pleasure in recommending Mr. XXX who is presently applying for admission in your graduate program. As the Associate Dean of the School of XXX in XXX University, as well as his class adviser in four courses, I believe I am one of the best persons who can vouch for his application.
  
Having known him for two years, I consider XX an outstanding student with independent mind in the department. During the course of Interviewing and Reporting in his second year of university, I was astonished by his quick absorption of new knowledge and strong independent learning ability. Studying with conscientiousness, XX could constantly put forward different views to public issues in class, which indicated his extensive reading and valuable personal understanding. But he did do well in exams too. In the last two years, as far as I know, he got over 90 scores in all my courses.
