my first interview

I have just been interviewed (biology) by a young india assistant professor (from a university ranked about 95) asked me several general questions last about 18 minutes.

P: hello, i am xxx from xxx.
M: hello! this is kimie speaking
P: would you tell me something about yourself, your research experience
M: blablabla.
P: Ok, your teaching experience
M: blablabla
P: do you have any experience of XXX, and some of the other experience?
M: yeah, they are ...
P: do you apply for other universities?
M: yes, more univerisities more chances to be accepted. the competition is very fiece between foreign students.
P: what will you do if we don't accept you?
M: I will try again, I want the best education of XXX.
P: which faculty member's research interests you?
M: I can't remember their names, but I remember there are faculty members doing research in XXX.
P: Yeah, that's professor A and B.
M: In fact I have interests in many aspects of XXX. I know new students will do rotations in several labs, and I think I will find my specific interest then.
P: Yes, blablabla.(explaining the rotation system).
P: your english is good and your application is excellent, but I can't tell you anything yet. you know, there are many other applicants with master degrees. this interview just to test your spoken english. but we wish to let you know the final decision by March 15.
M: thank you. I see.
P: So do you have any questions for me?
M: Yes, I want to know how many students will be admitted this fall?
P: 6, up to 8. blablabla(I don't know what she says)
M: Will your program provide full financial aid to new students?
P: the system is the first year paid by the program, and from the second year RA. it is about $1500 a month, i am not quite sure.
M: thank you for your information. that's all for my questions.
M: thank you for your calling! I am happy to have this nice conversation with you.
P: Me too. Byebye
M: BYE.

It seems that applicants with master degrees will have more chance than those with bachelor's to be accepted.

I hope the information will be helpful to those who will have phone interview soon.

I forgot one more question
she asked me if i will go back to china after graduation
I said yes, it is difficult for overseas students to find a satisfying job in USA.
I wonder whether this answer will affect my application?!

this may be related to visa,  but concerning offer, it is ok
