因为怕没人理我,所以根据板上的规矩先帮人改了一篇argu
但愿有人帮我看一下,不知对本题的切入点有没有什么更好的见解?
issue94 Universities should require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study because acquiring knowledge of various academic disciplines is the best way to become truly educated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a world dominated by the experiences of transition. Both the fleet speed of scientific innovation and its concomitant technology development remind us that one should undoubtedly acquire knowledge of various academic disciplines to become somewhat truly educated so as to hold a stand in this fantastic world.
Indeed, one, as a student in this daily transiting world of science and technology, is obliged to struggle to dabble in as many academic disciplines as possible in order to survive in and then accustom to this society. For instance, if one dreams to be a prominent computer software developer, it is too ridiculous to imagine that he or she has only acquired the principles of compute programming but is almost totally blank for the fundamental knowledge concerning how to better design and then even beautify the windows of the program that would largely affect the emotion of the users and further influence its sales, with which the supervisors and the investors of the program are more inclined to concern. Consequently, dabbling in some disciplines like visual arts and behaving psychology first is thoroughly necessary and essential for a student who would one day be a computer program designer. Likewise, how can we suppose a pedant who only pursues in a certain domain could survive successfully and even freely in this changing world? Briefly, the pressure brought from this transiting society prods us to remember all the time that more knowledge of various academic disciplines equals more capability for surviving in this world.
Nevertheless, one point that should be indicated (指出,在这里不知道用什么合适,而用point out有重复之嫌,望高手赐教)is that over-pursuing in knowledge of diverse disciplines but ignoring their in nature principles might render one to be too general to competent for specific work. Particularly, as students in schools and colleges today, fast mastering the compulsory courses is the basic premise for them to enlarge their knowledge to other optional courses. How terrible if one only wanders on the front covers of a series of certain textbooks but knows none important tips about their contexts! In a word, only acquiring more diverse knowledge of various disciplines on the premise of complete mastery of the basic ones might one be able to survive successfully in this transiting society.
Besides, while referring to the best way to become truly educated, another point should be taken into consideration, since people today growingly realize the significance of life education(终身教育,不知道怎样确切表达:(), that is, ensuring individuals to be educated throughout their whole lives but not instantaneously ceasing the education after their graduation. This concept, without doubt, is so advanced and provident to be accepted by most of the countries in the world. And optimistically, more and more colleges and universities are now coming into being the front of realizing and expanding this life-educating concept, which, indeed, a better choice to become not only truly but outstandingly educated.
To be or not to be, that is the problem.(不知道这句话引用在此是否合适,高手给点意见?) Yet, for college students today, learn knowledge of diverse disciplines should be the principle capability for accustoming to the daily changing society. However, complete mastery of the basic ones, namely compulsory courses in schools, should be set in front of it. Otherwise, overlooking the basic courses but gripping other less significant tips would be like straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel. |
