With the development of the science and technology, the lives of people are increasingly complex and new. The past seems be far away from our today's lives, and more and more individuals only concentrate on current matters because they believe that the past has little help to solve current problems. As a matter of fact, it is not the truth at all. A good understanding of the past still could provide some guidance for our present lives.

Nowadays, there are growing new technologies and products that have radically changed our lives from air conditioner and refrigerator to mass medias like TV, computer, from automobile to airplane. So the lives of individuals have become increasingly complex and rapid. Take the computer as an example; before the advent of computer, people must do lots of tedious computation work everyday, and even there could make mistakes; but when people began to take advantage of computer, the efficiency has been greatly improved and a lot of work became very simple and easy to deal with. Especially, the use of Internet make the relationship among the people be more complex; for instance, any person could communicate with the other person who could be far away from himself and not know each other through the Internet, and many businesses could be contacted through the Internet, thus the complex lives appear. All of these are never seen before, so these are very new to anybody.

However, even if individuals are facing the vivid and complex lives in modern times, they still should retrospect their past. First of all, "forgetting past means betray", many persons could heard. The past experience of individuals is a good guidance to direct them how to deal with the future problems and make good decisions. For example, a individual who invest a project but fail in the end would consider more carefully in the next investment, and would not make the same mistake. Further, the past of a nation or a society could make its future generations admire and love their own country, as well draw lessons from the old events and guide their current decisions. As a case in point is that China's opening policy is a fruit of drawing the lesson of the past. So the past is a good mirror of contemporary lives.

It is must admitted that there are many matters which have appeared in these times could not be solved only according to the past. Therefore we cannot unduly fascinate our past, and we should only learn from the past as a guidance of how to deal with complex lives. In fact, different times have different conditions, and anything depends on the actual situations though the past could lead us sometimes.

In sum, the increasing complex and new lives of individuals need persons consider more and more factors that could affect the matter, so it is difficult to make a good decision in these days. Nevertheless, take the past as the guidance, which could conduce (contribute) to our solving the problems sometimes.

用时是限定了，可我有点看不太懂。第一段说现在科技带来了很多以前不会发生的情况，第二段讲过去的经验有帮助，最后又作一个让步。真正为thesis服务的只有body2，是不是有点问题呢？感觉的确写的不是很好。用词虽然简单但还可以，论证上就太苍白了。

我就觉得自己对一写词的词性和有些特殊的表达不会，写的英文一点都不地道！
