这是第一帖。渣渣今年申请，GT四刷不成心灰意冷，进度迟缓正在搞文书，无意搜到了这个文档，对Econ masters和PhD申请选校、文书准备都很有帮助，还回答了一些申请中的重点问题，不知道有没有发过，分享在这里，希望有用，同时求人品求保佑。第一次发帖不会发附件请戳右边链接http://www.econ.ucla.edu/sboard/teaching/grad_application.pdf

If a Chinese applicant is with a profile of GPA 3.5~3.6 and GRE Q < 165 (assuming no strong LORs), he is not likely to get into 20s to 40s, he should aim at 50s--100s

I think 'GPA between 3.5-3.6“ means GPA earned at U of T, so that makes sense

是的...Tie1和2基本上也是加拿大和欧洲的学校，SOP部分讲得倒是挺详细，希望对大家有帮助吧。

So, hummm, may I ask here that...

There's a student with GPA 3.9, g 320+, t 90+, without good LoR or strong research experience... What school should he/she apply, considering PhD and/or master?
