I concede that contemporary society really provides some convenient and quick means for learning, however, reading books has its own advantages which cannot be replaced of other  ways at all.

It is true that rapid developing community offers multimedia, such as radio, television and Internet for learning, which contain countless information and successfully widen human beings' vision. Recently, advanced technology has eliminated the boundary of information among different fields and nations so that people find what they need immediately. For example, a person can receive foreign program, such as BBC and VOA which are far from his or her location by ration rather than read some books about these information after publishing several month later. And the one also can learn knowledge of animal, universe and background of other countries by watching TV rather than pay much money on encyclopedia. Moreover, Internet would be a more effective way in that it can provide lasted news and researches by the lines all over the world. Faced with multimedia, people can enter into most fields and gain the information what they need which brings an unprecedented developing society.

However, at the same time of using new ways for learning, people also confront with various problems because of the multimedia. On the one hand, the bad factors are spread among nations so that trap the society in the chaos. For instance, violence, sex and drug make terrible effect on human beings by televisions and computers; as a result, the crime rate increases quickly and even become a trend and serious problems. The consequence might out of control not only because of the high rate, but also the origin of those roots have been intertwined among field and nations. Obviously, the new ways of learning bring human beings some troubles rather than only worthy information.

Also, reading books remains an effective way of gaining information for its special advantages. Sometimes, people might feel uncomfortable to see the information what they dislike in the TV or Internet, on the contrary, reading books provide the choice to people so that they can chose what they like and what they desire to know. Moreover, the words in the book, specially the literature, is a beautiful art and readers can learn to appreciation, the ability of writing and communication. And sometimes, reading books with a cup of coffee in the afternoon is relaxation rather than gain information with stress and competition. Therefore, books also play important role in human life, because learning is a process of accumulating information and enjoying society life, which can be provided in reading.

Undoubtedly, rapid society offers useful accesses to learning knowledge and those new method really improve our lives and create comfortable environment, but it is impossible to overlook the bad influence from overload information among advanced technology. Furthermore, people should realize the function and merit of reading books, which cannot be substituted by other ways in that books are the spiritual food of human beings both in learning and relaxing.

总体感觉是头重脚轻啊，重点应该是book为什么重要，而前面的mulimedia却占了大部分。而且两个几乎没有什么比较阿，直说一个坏，一个好怎么知道在multimedia盛行的时候book还是很重要那？而且感觉语法错误比较多

写的时候没改过，怎么说呢，我着里没有否定任何一个，题目中提出的两个比较，我保持的态度是都要
body1是各种其他的手段
body2是这些的坏处
body3是book
我反而觉得你要是全放在book上反而不好吧
这个题目也可以全否定啊，1，2 和我一样，3写书的坏处，这样的逻辑应该也成立
那为什么不可以象上面我的逻辑呢？
