Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Cars have great effect on the society than the airplanes.

Individually, cars have a big effect on our daily life. With the cars, we do not have to walk to some distant places and our lives become more easier. However, in terms of the society, the function of cars cannot be compared with that of airplanes, since the latter one has a huge impact on two significant parts of the society: business and education.

Since the airplane was intvented, cargo has been more easily to be transported from one place to the other place around the world, which accelerates the globalization. In the past, the main way of transportation was in ship. Although it has some kinds of advantage such as the low transportation cost, the velocity is so slow that it always takes months from America to China in ship. Now planes make the things totally different: not only goods can be transported more fast but also people who do the international business can go around the world to negotiate and make contracts with others. Now the business is definitely not contracted in one country forever. The competition is among the world. For example, in China with the prevalence of airplanes and the decrease of transportation cost of airplane, many phone producers worry about their market shares. Many smart phones such as iPhones, Sumsungs replace many of phones produced domestically. It is not strange that many of producers worry about that. Big phone companies like Nokia could be merged into Microsoft. Such small companies have much more pressure. These are all the changes that lead by the airplanes.

In addition to the impact on the business, airplanes also have an effect on the education. Nowadays, every year in order to get a better education, many students from the world go to America, Britain, and Canada, etc. The amount of the international students was unimaginable in the past, because it was very inconvenient to go to other countries several decades ago. For example, Chinese national leader Xiaoping Deng spent months to go to France to study when he was young. Airplanes, however, provide many students a good chance to study abroad. They do not have to spend months in a ship. At most 2 days, they can travel from any city in the world to any another one. This conventionality leads many students to choose to study abroad, which significantly changes our society. Studying in developed countries can help them to learn some knowledge that they cannot acquire in their own countries, to broaden their horizons that is especially rewarding to the younger, and to exercise them many practical work skills that can be used directly in their future. Therefore, when they finish their studying and come to their hometown, they can make full use of hat they acquire abroad and make a big contribution to the local society.

Based on the conclusion explored above, I definitely think that airplanes have much more effect than cars. Airplanes are not only tools of transportation but also the bridge of different countries.
