No.1 issue181 教育类!应该比较好写的,但字数少了些,不到500 sigh!大家帮忙看看吧!时间不多了,急!
181.The way students and scholars interpret the materials they work with in their academic fields is more a matter of personality than of training. Different interpretations come about when people with different personalities look at exactly the same objects, facts, data, or events and see different things.
It is true that different people have different views. Facing the same facts, events or objects, individuals will have distinctive opinions about them due to the differences of background of persons such as education, culture, and academic fields. But in academic fields, the way of students and scholars interpreting the materials mainly depend on their academic training and the scope of knowledge, but not the personality.
In academic fields, many valuable findings or profound knowledge are involved in the facts, events, or data, and need the academic training and knowledge to explain them. Take a chemical research as an example; in the process of a chemical experiment, people need to investigate special phenomenon, record the data, analyze these phenomenon, results and data, which need the academic knowledge; students and scholars must apply their academic knowledge to the experiment, and think why it is this but not that, (是不是有点汉语思维,只是觉得不太好,不知道英语中这么说好不好,我也不知道改怎样表达啊! ) why it is itself but not any other else?, what these data means, what connection is involved between this experiment and another one and so on. All of these must need academic training; as outsiders as are considered, they could know little about these 指代什么?不如改为the superficial phenomenon; they don't know why these happened, and let alone the basic theory of the experiment; they only know what happened during the experiment. Hence, it is necessary/essential for students and scholars to join the training in academic fields. 感觉这一大段看的头晕,很多的these, that有种指代不明的感觉。不如写一个具体的小实验来的清楚。
Moreover, academic training is beneficial for students and scholars to achieve their goals. Why do our students need to study in university?(这里真的犯了低级错误,555….) The chief goal of the education is to give students academic knowledge, and make them fit for technological and research work.这句话和我上次写的那篇正好矛盾――Education should be equally devoted to enriching the personal lives of students and to training students to be productive workers. If the personality can decide the way of students interpreting the materials, it is unnecessary for people to spend so much money and energy to study academic training. In addition, scientific researches need objective view; if people rely on their personalities to explain the data, facts etc, there will lose the objectivity of science, and there will be no objective criteria. Personality is a subjective idea, which mainly relies on individual. Therefore academic studying can benefit people to consider the matters more objectively and correctly.
Admittedly, sometimes, personality could affect our views. It is commonplace that when facing the same thing, different people have distinctive opinions. For example, some people think teenage abortion is immoral and unlawful, but others support it because they believe it is personal right. Such distinction originates from the distinction of the status, the background and personality of the individuals. Perhaps radical people who have strong personalities would maintain it; on the contrary, the conservative person will protest it. In this case, the personality plays a vital role.
In all, the way people interpret the materials more relies on their academic knowledge, and it is essential for students and scholars to hold academic training. Relatively speaking, personality also plays a less significant role in the process of explanation.
