里头提到的几个地点，有没有哪位现在就住在哪儿的？ 请问那儿现在的状况有没有太大的变化涅？

For Msc ECE, UBC has a lower rate compared with UA. I think it was about 3600/term and 3 terms per year plus they have waives for international students. One only pay no more than 5000/year for that program. That's the story I heard from my friend from UBC.

The article you mentioned is basically telling the truth.

For the properties rent in Edmonton, I would like to recommend Newton Place from University. I was there for 2 years and the conditions are good in general (try to avoid 4th-6th floor, they ever have bedbug report. the higher floor, the better condition in general). The best thing for NP (similar thing for Garnuau Tower &Windsor Park Plaza) is that they are so close to university. The rate is about 1300-1400 for NP& GT for 2beds (usually 3 Chinese students share 2bed with one in living room so the rate per person is about 400-500 depending on which room you are in)

Apart from the properties near university, apartments/houses near LRT(subway) are also good choices. On thing to keep in mind is that try to avoid Chinatown area and stadium/coliseum area due to the awful security condition.
