"With the growth of global networks in such areas as economics and communication, there is no doubt that every aspect of society—including education, politics, the arts, and the sciences—will benefit greatly from international influences."

With the development of technology and globalization, we will have illusion that the whole is getting smaller and smaller. Someone believes that this will promise us a more splendid future and we do not have to worry about any problems that may arise, just as the title statement asserts. While admitting the enormous benefits we enjoy, we should confess that there are some embarrassing problems.

Admittedly, we have made a unprecedented achievement through national communication and world cooperation. As above-mentioned, the global is getting smaller. So a large number of issues turn out, probably concerning more than one country. Thus, in order to solve the difficulties, we have to take collective efforts and worldwide wisdom. We must have not forgotten the horrible epidemic spreading the whole world last year, especially in East Asia. SARS-Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-then made many public places forbidden districts. Eventually, humanity managed to defeat the dangerous disease through international cooperation. Without global networks, we may be still under the gloomy darkness.

What's more, globalization accelerates economic development of the countries which are still suffering from poverty. For example, the convenience of transportation makes it possible to reach the opposite side of the global in a minute. Thus, tourism becomes a booming industry, which creates job opportunities for local people. What's more, developing countries can sell its productions to developed ones so as to bridge the gap between them.

However, every coin has two sides. Globalization is a double-edged sword as well. The prosperity cannot prevent the emergence of unhappiness, which worries the whole world a lot. There is tremendous evidence for this point of view. The USA, which is the only super power in the world at present, often interferes others in many aspects. The Iraq War is an excellent example. And invisible dangers with potential activities also appear. For instance, adolescents from every corner of the world are now wearing the same fashionable clothes, enjoying the same brand fast food and listening to the same music. The culture traditions of their own, which are unvalued heritage of humanity, are now disappearing. If we do not treasure these important legacies, we will have to pay for our irresponsible actions at last.

To sum up, we must always keep a conscious mind and a sharp eye towards the immediate situations. Globalization brings about both advantage and disadvantage. Nevertheless, provided that we have a firm resolution and take practical measures, the harmony of the world as a whole will be attained eventually.

最好别举usa的反面教材。谁知道批卷人是什么态度，这种敏感性话题要慎重，意识形态的冲突是最严重的冲突之一，尽管美国强调自由思想，但也要看到他们这种自由思想背后的虚伪，呵呵。
