Dear Students,

I am looking for strong Ph.D. students with computer science background (or equivalent) and interests in any of the following topics, to join my group (Computer Science, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago) in Fall 2014. Openings are available before August 2014 for the Fall 2014 enrollment.

* Computer Security
* Networks and Systems
* Trustworthy Power Grid Cyber-Physical Systems
* Modeling and Simulation of Large-Scale Systems

Required skills:       
* Strongly motivated
* Strong background in programming, networking and systems
* Communication skills; written and spoken English
* Good knowledge of C/C++ and LINUX
* Strong mathematical background is preferred

Depending on the background of the student, an appropriate project can be found. The important thing is to be enthusiastic and be willing to work hard to experiment, explore and learn new things.
