Issue234 "Most people prefer restrictions and regulations to absolute freedom of choice, although they would probably deny such a preference."

After careful and objective analysis about the issue whether most of people prefer restriction and regulation to absolute freedom of choice, I find my view principally consistent with the author's. In my opinion, people tend to prefer a life with certain restriction as well as enough freedom to that with absolute freedom for both the efficiency of their work and study and the quality of their life. In the following discussion, I will show my evidence to substantiate my view.

In the first place, it is true that many people complains that they are exposed to so many restrictions and regulations confining their daily behavior that they have been deprived of their freedom. People always gripe that their life are fulfilled with various confinement, they work under regulations in their company, study under restriction in their school, and what's more, even when they are at home, they have to be confined by the restrictions from their parents. It is seemingly that people are conveying their dissatisfaction about such a great deal of restriction and regulation they are confronted with through their complaints, however, further survey reveals that many people also confess that they will fell uneasy when they are granted absolute freedom.

In the second place, however, most of people acknowledge their preference to the restrictions and regulations of a certain degree, claiming that without them, they cannot work effectively and live meaningfully. Almost everybody confess that he or she naturally tends to work or study in low efficiency when they have no restriction to urge them. Our daily experience can justify the truth of my view, when we are appointed to do a certain job, which has no deadline for us to hand out our achievement, it will cost us a longer time to finish it than it does if we have some restriction of time; when we are at school, we all once had the experience of being late though there are strict regulation that a student should not be late for school, which will affect the quality of his study and hinder his formation of a good habit of punctuality, just imagine, if there are no regulation in school, what it would be like, a holly place for education or a disordered place of urchin? I choose the latter.

In the final analysis, another reason for people's preference to restriction and regulation is that they can guarantee their personal interest. The constitution and laws of our current society serve as the plinth of the stability and prosperity of the society and thus the basis of our personal interest. If no laws and restrictions were imposed on the society, the human race would gradually degrade to the primitive creature without humanity, if so, what we see in the world will not be the accumulated civilization and high-degreed democracy, but pandemonium of robbery, rape, and all kinds of evil. From such a point of view, without the necessary restriction and regulation, people may be able to do want they wish to do and seemingly have more freedom, however, they are just deprived of the most basic right of living without hurt.

To sum up, I consent to the author with little reservation. Through the discussion mentioned above we can easily reach the conclusion that people are quite aware of the fact that there is not absolute freedom, such restriction and regulation just serve as the foundation of their limited but enough freedom, the efficiency of their work and study, and the quality of their life.

In the first place, it is true that many people complains(complains) that they are exposed to so many restrictions and regulations confining their daily behavior that they have been deprived of their freedom. People always gripe that their life are fulfilled(fulfill? ->permeated?) with various confinement, they work under regulations in their company, study under restriction in their school, and what's more, even when they are at home, they have to be confined by the restrictions from their parents. It is seemingly(seemingly? adv?) that people are conveying their dissatisfaction about such a great deal of restriction and regulation they are confronted with through their complaints, however, further survey reveals that many people also confess that they will fell(feel) uneasy when they are granted absolute freedom.

In the second place, however, most of people acknowledge their preference to the restrictions and regulations of(to) a certain degree, claiming that without them, they cannot work effectively and live meaningfully. Almost everybody confess that he or she naturally tends to work or study in low efficiency when they have no restriction to urge them. Our daily experience can justify the truth of my view, when we are appointed to do a certain job, which has no deadline for us to hand out(hand out?)our achievement, it will cost us a longer time to finish it than it does(will cost than does?) if we have some restriction(可数性?) of time; when we are at school, we all once had the experience of being late though there are(are?) strict regulation that a student should not be late for school, which will affect the quality of his study and hinder his formation of a good habit of punctuality, just imagine, if there are no regulation in school, what it would be like, a holly place for education or a disordered place of urchin?

In the final analysis, another reason for people's preference to restriction and regulation is that they can guarantee their personal interest. The constitution and laws of our current society serve as the plinth of the stability and prosperity of the society and thus(and thus的前后因果关系最好在解释一下,感觉思维还是有跳跃。 the basis of our personal interest. If no laws and restrictions were imposed on the society, the human race would gradually degrade to the primitive creature without humanity(这句离个人兴趣有点远了), if so, what we see in the world will not be the accumulated civilization and high-degreed democracy, but pandemonium of robbery, rape, and all kinds of evil. From such a point of view(from用得有点别扭,judging from this aspect/angle你觉得怎么样?), without the necessary restriction and regulation, people may be able to do want(what) they wish to do and seemingly have more freedom, however, they are just deprived of the most basic right of living without hurt.(最后一句解释得不太清楚)

To sum up, I consent to the author with little reservation. Through the discussion mentioned above we can easily reach the conclusion that people are quite aware of the fact that there is not(no) absolute freedom, such restriction and regulation just serve as the foundation of their limited but enough freedom, the efficiency of their work and study, and the quality of their life.(最后一句没看懂)
