我的提纲主要想从个人和社会的角度来说：
1。对个人而言，只有当教育满足学生的兴趣和需要时，个人才能最有效地学习。
2。兴趣需要得到满足后，个人积极地投入到社会建设中，使整个社会受益。

我是这样写的：反对，有保留
1 不管各人兴趣是什么，每个学生都应该学一些基础的公共的课程，像数学和history
2 overspecified education will narrow students' ken and  capability of acclimatization of future development, 而且针对不同学生的不同兴趣开展教育是一种资源浪费
3 当然也不能忽略个人兴趣的重要性，学校应该重视学生的兴趣和需要，但针对each student 显然是不现实的

1.Education designed to meet the needs and interests of each student is  effective on individuals, both in their growth
and study.

   2.However, undoubtedly, trying to satisfy everyone is unpractical and has no efficiency at all. Without mention the great
costs of researching and designing appropriate educational system, and training many qualified teachers, teachers cannot be
familiar with their students in a shore term. So many blocks certainly lead the assume to failure.

   3.In addition, although the present educational system has some deficiencies, after all, it has been proved effectively
for the majority.

   solutions: teachers should communicate with their students frequently, and care some special ones. School should offer
some particularly programs for various students.

cale和流浪小孩的提纲都很有启发性，不过好象出发点和我不一样。
对于effective，我是从教育产生的效果来说这样的教育很effective，while流浪小孩和cale好象是从教育本身出发，不知道我这样是不是偏了。。。
PS：好象我的立场经常和大家不一样，我的逻辑思维很差的，有时候写argument差点被它convince，汗。。。

同时怎么看待designed to meet individual need

designed to meet individual need不一定就是刻意迎合。我觉得只要说designed to meet individual need就认为是等同于每个人肆意妄为也许比较偏。事实上，例如一所大学，给予充分深度的公共课程和同样广度的选修课程，每个人学位都根据你选过的课程来设计，我觉得这就已经很好的designed to meet individual need了。

once again. 两个定义很关键。看看自己如何认识的。认识不同，论点就不同。
