My name is ****(Candidate No.: ****). I took part in the IELTS test (Academic Training) on 24th May, 2014 for the purpose of pursuing the Master Degree in Hong Kong. Bearing the puzzlement of the result, I wish to reassess my test score on writing and speaking.
For the past period, I have spent almost 2 hours a day to practice oral English with my partner and I think my pronunciation and intonation is good, which are the reasons why I think I could get a score on speaking at least 6. However, my speaking is only at level 5.5, which really made me puzzled. Moreover, I have joined some IELTS training class to improve my writing skill and I was greatly benefited from a native-English teacher on writing structure. Also, I spared no effort to prepare both the task 1 and task 2 on writing section everyday.I think I have done a good job on writing and would be a higher score.
As a pre-requisite for the course that I would like to study, I need to reach at least level 6.5 in my IELTS and no band below 6.0. If I cannot get a satisfactory score, I will lose the opportunity to further my education at my dream school. And taking another exam is extremely inconvenient for me, so I request to remark my writing section and speaking section.
"During the preparation (about 2 months), I spent almost 2 hours per day practising oral English with my partner, who also prepared for the test. Neither does she but I think my pronunciation and intonation is good. "
