我也不是很清楚，应该是that引导定语从句，as as 同级修饰，并后面接名词the very quarry ，it aims to study 定语从句修饰quarry
好像也有点像倒装……没必要分析语法吧，时间来不及，知道意思就行了：C是依靠着一个notion来进行预测的，这个notion与C所要研究的猎物一样的___
