3、现在的父母收到的教育更好 所以不像之前那么保守 会尊重孩子的想法




The statement is about the decision making among the youth. While in my opinion, mordern youth are more independence.

Nowadays, Internet is developed. It is more convenient for youth to collect information. With enough information, they can make decisions independently. For example, when I graduated from high school, I wanted to take engineering as my major because I had searched on the Internet and found that an engineer can get a job with good salary easily. I also took advantage of the Internet to figure out which university is of best engineering major. Based on those information, I decided to attend a university in Wuhan. While when my father was a teenager, there was no Internet and even newspaper. He did not which major was suitable for him and which college he should attend. The only information source was his parents. So he is not as independent as me.

Besides, better education that youth received today helps them distinguish the information. Modern youth have basic knowledge to find out which piece of information is useful. My friend Zhang is a good example. His dream is to be a programmer. When he graduated from high school, he was hesitated to choose a university because there were too many universities that are of computer science. So what he did was to review the official website of every university and find out the courses he will take. According to the knowledge he gained in high school, he selected a university that best matches his background. However, if he were in fifty years ago where there were no computer related classes in high school. How could he determine which school to attend independently? The only way is to reference his parents' opinions.

Finally, well-educated parents are also a key factor now. With development in education, it is obvious that my parents received better education than me grandparents. So my parents are not as conventional as my grandparents. They always respect my decision. When I chose my major, my parents thought accounting is better. To persuade them, I talked with my father several times. And finally, he agreed with me because my grandparents interfered his major choice and he knew how pain it is to take a wrong major. He did not want me to copy his way. So a parent who can respect children's opinions plays a really significant role in the independent decision making

Taking all those factors into consideration, making decision on ones own for a teenager today is not a difficult thing.

啊。。。。我传错文档了 另一个里面最前面是有一段话开头的 不过我觉得我写的开头有点太过简单
