1，就是由于对commonplace thing的passionate interest才衍生出人们对knowledge的渴求；2，衍生出人们对探索research的commitment；
3，也正是因为这个好主意适用于commonplace thing，所以idea才influential。

The following appeared as part of a letter to the editor of a scientific journal.
"A recent study of eighteen rhesus monkeys provides clues as to the effects of birth order on an individual's levels of stimulation.The study showed that in stimulating situations (such as an encounter with an unfamiliar monkey),firstborn infant monkeys produce up to twice as much of the hormone cortisol,which primes the body for increased activity levels,as do their younger siblings.Firstborn humans also produce relatively high levels of cortisol in stimulating situations (such as the return of a parent after an absence).The study also found that during pregnancy,first-time mother monkeys had higher levels of cortisol than did those who had had several offspring."
Write a response in which you discuss one or more alternative explanations that could rival the proposed explanation and explain how your explanation(s) can plausibly account for the facts presented in the argument.
conclusion:A recent study of eighteen rhesus monkeys provides clues as to the effects of birth order on an individual's levels of stimulation.
Evidence:(1)The study showed that in stimulating situations (such as an encounter with an unfamiliar monkey),firstborn infant monkeys produce up to twice as much of the hormone cortisol,which primes the body for increased activity levels,as do their younger siblings.
(2)Firstborn humans also produce relatively high levels of cortisol in stimulating situations (such as the return of a parent after an absence).

提纲：
In this letter, the author claims that the birth order has direct effects on an individual’s levels of stimulation. To justify his/ her claims, he/she cites the finding of a study that first infant monkeys tend to produce twice as much of hormone cortisol when in stimulating situations and so do firstborn human infants. Also, the study finds that mother monkeys have higher levels of cortisol during their first pregnancy. However, there exist a number of alternative explanations in interpreting these facts which render the author’s claim unconvincing.
正文：
1.怀疑18个猴子样本量不足且不具代表性。可能正好选取了hormone cortisol水平高的猴子所以到这这样的观测结果。
2。猴子和人cortisol高的原因可能是年龄大体型大，从食物中摄取，或与父母呆的时间多等等。
3.mother monkey第一胎有high level of cortisol 是因为第一胎比较兴奋或者压力比较大。

老师，我这样的提纲可以么，我参考了您的范文，中间段选取了对first baby影响的几个因素分别做了详细的阐释。alternative explanation对一个现象的不同解释是要分段写么?

10月16考的上周成绩出来出乎意料的上了4分，这些天一直太忙终于有时间过来写个经验总结（顺便混进优秀学生榜单哈哈~）

首先要感谢王老师一直以来的细心修改以及对我的关心与鼓励！还有老师的整套提纲真的帮了大忙！另外也要感谢一起练习的大家。和大家一起努力是我能够坚持的很大原因。

从今年六月最开始决定练写作到现在将近五个月，感觉拖得时间挺长的。我本来以为自己写作功底还是可以的，但写出来才知道有差距。主要问题是找不到例子和思路，以及语法拼写搭配的问题。于是跟着同主题练习。基本上argu和issue各练了15篇以上，也根据老师的批改做了一些修改和总结。这些练习基本集中在六七月份。虽然之后就很少在整片写了，但这些练习和修改真的很有必要。让我熟悉1+3模型和出题套路，考场时间安排，也让我认识到什么是我经常出问题的点，在之后的写作中加以改正。

暑假的时候考过两次G，作文一次3.5一次3，都很不理想。尤其是第二次，我刷完高频信誓旦旦的以为准备的不错，但是一看到issue题目就懵了，一道没有相似题目的完全不高频得题。这次教训让我领悟到要是考场应变力不咋样的话就乖乖地把题库刷完再考。

开学之后特别忙坚持背单词都很难就没再看作文，只有16号考之前的几天把issue刷了一遍，argument没刷几道。考试的时候issue考的是是不是该选选修课的天然高频，于是写的很爽。arguement是滑板那道题，但是是和prohibit滑板相反的那道。我正好考前看了prohibit滑板，结果考试我就一直想着怎么argue不应该禁止，浪费了很多时间，以至于第三个point没有展开也没写conclusion。这样也能上四分估计真的是运气好吧。（不过argument我也差不多写到一滚轴加三分之一所以我觉得字数还是很重要的）

写了一堆乱七八糟的，在最后真心建议大家考前看一遍题库，老师的范文和提纲写的都很详细很靠谱。不要学我考前突击，平时每天刷十到二十道题，到考前很容易就刷完了。另外计时练习很重要！！！平时没时间练考前几天可以练练，不然考场上真的控制不好时间分配。

十一月还打算再考一次冲个4.5啥的，希望能有好消息嘿嘿~

作文分出来了，拿了4，虽然不是什么很好的成绩不过还是要感谢下王老师的博客啊。尤其是考场上抽到的Issue题目（Any means to achieve a worthy goal can be justifiable）正好考前一晚看了下老师的提纲，否则真是不知从何写起。

请问，仅仅列举几个学科不会不有不全面的问题？art和humanities之类的学科被漏掉了。
