讨论一下Columbia新开的Econ Master

这个项目至今都没有更新信息，给他们发邮件也不回，感兴趣的小伙伴们讨论一下吧~

没啥好讨论的，肯定是顶级项目，按照他的课程表来看 应该是1.5年-2年，偏向于pre-PhD，学费估计不便宜，当然在纽约生活费也挺贵的，说不定以后会怒超DUKE ECON，第一年可能录取人数会比较少，竞争可能也会比较激烈，当然也有可能因为是新开的所以知名度不高导致申请者不多，所以如果对口味就试试吧，反正也不差那几个钱。

quite interested in how you know it is pre-PhD with that limited information........and how it can be top notch for that sure

what I saw is:
1. ten required course, it means 1 - 1.5 year in general.
2. the course listed bear the same as the course phase of PhD in economics, though it doesnt mean they are in the same class as the course code is not shown.
3. even the targeted intake is not listed.........so nothing more can be said.
P.S. Columbia have quite some experience to host some master, with high tuition, large intake, but not really that solid quality control. Given the location and the reputation of the university, it will definitly a good one for working; but for PhD preparation, I will doubt about that till more information (e.g. who will be teaching) is given.

USC的Econ Master也是，感觉有点奇葩。。。

现在问题其实是 除了一个很久没更新的页面以外 根本就没有其他消息了...
