columbia U的stat不是已经黑出翔了么 一个项目中国人多的已经。。。。

but you want to change to Stats, from a totally different program. so, you canot expect too much

你是申明年fall的吗？多大统计雅思要7.5小分6.5哎，好厉害。貌似多大统计不怎么招国际生的

無非兩樣:
1. 中國人多 - 這個無解. choose it or not
2. 課程水. i will say good or bad:
對於本科相關的人來說, 水課程 = 再重覆一遍(first half of master) = 學不了太多.
對於相關背景不夠的人來說, 這就是好好的基礎課了.
當然, 以理論物理之硬, 大可以選更難的課程.

the stats in u of t is impossible. it is a preliminary program for PhD, and doesn't like international students, and students who wanna change to stats.

i used to luckily get admission to this program, but i can tell you my bg very briefly. I have bachelor/Master/PhD from an Ivy league Univ and McGill, majoring in kind of computation.  I also taught one senior undergrad course as primary instructor (advanced stats and math). then, i got admitted.

waterloo也是竞争激烈啊。。不过相对于其他学校几所录取的会多一些

除非PR或者Canadian，U of T stat别想了，可以转战biostat
