我觉得其他课上再多也多少作用 marginal benefit of taking another economics class will be extremely low after you have taken intermediate micro, macro and econometrics.

Introduction game theory 会涉及到一些 probability 和 math proof 的一些东西。还是上 game theory 好。当然每个学校教的内容都不一样。

yup

前四門(multivatiate calculus + linear Algebra + prob + stat)
再 +intermediate micro, macro + metrics可以說是master econ的必修七門基礎課.

基本上全球如是.

後面那堆, 再加上一些adv. stat course (e.g. time series, multivariate, inference)之類, 都是一個big plus,
but not as necessary as the 7 listed above.

去cemfi参加暑期学校吧，做好充足的准备，拿到那里大牛推荐信，比如在cemfi工作又去了苏黎世的那位大牛，和你所在学校关系很好，做好对策，完全有机会的

1. 明年選, 申請時不上transcipt 是一個問題, 但聊勝於冇.
2. consider SSERM for time series and etc. (??)
3. consider swiss mobility (e.g. UZH) fall 2015 for some math (and econ) (?????)

just an starting idea for you to consider, 不代表我一定建議如此.

I already contacted UZH for Swiss Mobility this past year and got a lot of information from them. HSG won't credit any of those math credits so that will add some pressure for me to graduate on time. But if in your opinion it's really worth it or if there aren't other economic options then I will start the preparation for the fall Swiss Mobility.  Should I still take LSE's analysis if I'll take UZH's Analysis I, II, Lineare Algebra?

For time series, I can still choose Buncic's course this semester, but not Stochastic Method in Finance. That course is obviously the most popular among econ majors.

1. 能夠理解bidding point不夠是一個很頭痛的事. 選不上就明年spring再算.
2. just take once will be fine; tran不了回去的話, 建議別去算了........take a LSE summer school for analysis, 找家summer school take some maths that you missed (linear algebra? differential eqn?). 我之前見過(forgot UCB / chicago / whatever是有的, but for US, distance and time schedule is a concern, 不知道歐洲有沒有了)

UZH's math courses won't be on HSG's transcript, but they provide transcript for students anyways, quite like LSE's summer school real analysis transcript. So I guess it's still worth a try? I've seen UZH's Analysis&Linear Algebra course contents and it's a solid math training in German.

用處肯定是有的 (just same as taken it at home university), 值得一試否?
很看你的credit和時間怎分配....tran不了回來, 會否加重其他學期的workload, 而令GPA受壓?
這個就只有本人自己才知道了.......

the reason why people mention summer school more is because this problem is avioded.

请教一下Linear Algebra不能通过Linear Models and Variance Analysis这门课来证明能力吗（这个想法可能会比较幼稚）? 这门课前两个阶段就是过一遍basic and advanced matrix algebra。我还是比较想避免去UZH，毕竟交通方面的耗时和花费也是很大的。

（有的学校说这些偏应用的课不能代替数学课本身？。。。友情帮顶了）
另外楼主不要担心，海本和大陆的不是一个pool的。。
