given its stability, and the reward........no wonder people are still try to crash into it.

I guess you did your 1st master in Canada (?), and if it is really the case, one should had already got an internship if one can get one..........and I guess it will be better off for you to have a small switch then...

suggestion: all 5 paper + all 3 VEE + FRM 1&2 before your graduation........

Did bachelor in China and in the 2nd term master in Canada. So no work experience right now.

And I am also considering go back to China few years later. You see, starting at senior level as actuary in China is a pretty choice.

assume you finish the master in 1.5 - 2 years, and then work towards fellows and finish in 3-4 years, and promotes to senior successfully.......that's like 5-6 years later already......

I will be really interested to know how the insurance / actuarial side looks like in China at that time......
