Good Morning,
I have been trying to track down why you haven't received your funding letter.  
The paperwork got mislaid during a staff change.  The Admissions Office tells
me that the letter will be sent out within the next week.  I will check back
with them next week to confirm that the letter has been sent.

The funding is for $16,500--the maximum allowable by the funding organization.
Dalhousie tuition is taken from the stipend first, and then you will receive
the balance in equal monthly payments (about $400 to $500 per month).  This is
not sufficient to pay housing, books, food, etc...so as a rule, foreign
students come with additional means of support.  To come without further means
of support will provide you with significant challenges.

如果你问这个问题是为了算你申请签证需要准备多少资金担保的话，就用学校的奖学金减去学费后所剩的生活费，与使馆要求的一年一万加元的生活费比，差多少补多少。如果是2年的Master，就再乘以2。按你说的450算，你一年的学费应该是16500-450*12=11100，应该提供多少资金担保，你自己一算就出来了。如果家里的经济条件允许，稍微多开一点也可以，量力而行吧，最重要的是合理。

如果你问这个问题是为了看看到加拿大以后可以过什么样的生活，我觉得，普通的学生一个月550就能活，600-700就可以过得很好很好了，不知道使馆的标准为什么定得那么高，可能咱们自己已经觉得挺小康的了，但在VO眼里也就是贫农的水平。

再说一句，dalhousie由于在halifax，是个不大不小的城市，比较安静，生活费比加国其他大城市要少，所以dal的费用还是蛮低的，我的offer上告诉我各个专业的学费，我算了一下贵的也比多大的费用要低。所以。。。呵呵，还是不错的。我的首站估计就是dal了。有同道的朋友联系我。现在人在北京，估计7月走人。email：yjonline@hotmail.com,qq号如楼上。
